Eternal Melody II
Eternal Melody II is the second classical studio album by Japanese musician Yoshiki. It was released on March 23, 2005. Overview In 1993, Yoshiki recorded his first classical studio album, ''Eternal Melody'', in London at the studios owned by English record producer Sir George Martin, who produced and co-arranged the album, with the music performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. It mostly included orchestral arrangements of songs from his band X Japan. This second album was recorded in the Los Angeles County, California; in his own Extasy Recording Studio, O'Henry Sound Studios, and Paramount Pictures Scoring Stage M facility. All songs were written and composed by Yoshiki. Composition The albums contains two songs from his first single "Amethyst", the title track and "Ima wo Dakishimete". Yoshiki (musician)
, known as Yoshiki, is a Japanese musician, songwriter, composer and record producer. He is best known as the leader and a co-founder of the visual kei rock band X Japan, for which he is the drummer, pianist and main songwriter. "Longing" is a ballad by Japanese heavy metal band X Japan and written by Yoshiki. The song has been released in several versions, most notably in two different single variations. The first, , was released as their eleventh single on August 1, 1995 and reached the number 1 spot on the Oricon chart. The second, , is their twelfth released on December 11, 1995 and reached number 5. Summary The song was first released as a demo tape titled "Longing ~Togireta Melody~", which was given out at X Japan's December 30–31, 1994 Tokyo Dome concerts. The demo also included a recording of the band practicing "Longing", " Break the Darkness", "Scars" and "Dahlia". In 2007, this demo tape was re-released on CD in the ''Aoi Yoru Shiroi Yoru Complete Edition'', a DVD set of the two concerts where it was first released. Richard Henry Marx (April 12, 1924 – August 12, 1997) was an American jazz pianist and arranger. He also composed for film, television, and commercials. Personal life Marx and wife Ruth (née Guildoo) had a son, Richard Marx, pop singer, songwriter, and record producer. , is a Japanese pianist, composer, conductor and musical producer signed under Being Inc. He is Pops Executive Producer in the Pacific Philharmonia Tokyo orchestra. Biography Ikurō started learning piano and composing from an early age. Shelton "Shelly" Glen Berg (born August 18, 1955) is an American classical and jazz pianist and music educator. He is the dean of the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida and the school's Patricia L. Frost Professor of Music. Early life and education Berg was born in Cleveland, the son of entrepreneur and jazz trumpeter Jay Berg. Akihito
is a member of the Imperial House of Japan who reigned as the 125th emperor of Japan from 7 January 1989 until his abdication on 30 April 2019. Globe (band)
is a dance-oriented Japanese pop band, formed in 1995 by producer and songwriter Tetsuya Komuro. Originally consisting of Komuro, Keiko Yamada and Marc Panther, the group's singles consistently hit the charts. is a Japanese musician, songwriter and record producer. He is recognized as the most successful producer in Japanese music history and introduced contemporary electronic dance music to the Japanese mainstream. He was also a former owner of the disco Velfarre located in Roppongi, Tokyo. In the Oricon singles chart of April 1996, he monopolized all the top 5 positions as the songwriter and producer, a world record.
