Erin Beck
Erin Beck (born December 26) is a Grammy-nominated American songwriter. She is best known as co-writer of the eight times platinum pop record "Sexy and I Know It" by the band LMFAO. Beck also co-wrote the title track from LMFAO's RIAA certified Gold second studio album, titled "Sorry For Party Rocking", along with Calvin Harris' " Reminds Me of You". Early life and education Born in San Diego, California, she began writing at a young age under the encouragement of her mother, who was also a writer. While exploring writing through essay contests and short stories, she also developed a love of music, and she became involved with musical theater, her local worship band, and a bell choir. The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) () is an American not-for-profit performance-rights organization (PRO) that collectively licenses the public performance rights of its members' musical works to venues, broadcasters, and digital streaming services (music stores).
