Château De Versailles
The Palace of Versailles ( ; french: Château de Versailles ) is a former royal residence built by King Louis XIV located in Versailles, about west of Paris, France. Equestrian at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan was held at the Tokyo Equestrian Park. There were eleven gender free events taking place: ten individual events and one mixed team event. The 2020 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They kept the 2020 name and were held from 24 August to 5 September 2021. The 2022 ECCO FEI World Championships were held in Herning, Denmark. 2023 FEI European Dressage Championships
The 2023 FEI European Dressage Championships will be held in Riesenbeck, Germany, from 4 to 10 September 2023. Other cities who bid to host the Championships were Cascais in Portugal and Vejer de la Frontera in Spain, but both cities withdrew. The FEI allocated the European Championships in Riesenbeck on the 21st of October and will count as qualification event for the Olympic Games. In 2021 the European Championships for show-jumping was also organized in Riesenbeck, at the show location of Olympic gold-medalist Ludger Beerbaum. The Equestrianism, equestrian events at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are scheduled to run from 27 July to 6 August at the Palace of Versailles, featuring 200 riders across three disciplines for both individual and team competitions, namely dressage, eventing, and show jumping, jumping. Qualification The 200 quota places for equestrians were divided among the three disciplines (75 for jumping, 65 for eventing, and 60 for dressage). Teams in each discipline consisted of three horse and rider pairs; any NOC that qualified a team (20 teams for jumping, 16 for eventing, and 15 for dressage) also received 3 entries in the individual competition for that discipline.
