Enda Kenny
Enda Kenny (born 24 April 1951) is an Irish former Fine Gael politician who served as Taoiseach from 2011 to 2017, Leader of Fine Gael from 2002 to 2017, Minister for Defence from May to July 2014 and 2016 to 2017, Leader of the Opposition from 2002 to 2011, Minister for Tourism and Trade from 1994 to 1997 and Minister of State at the Department of Labour and Department of Education with responsibility for Youth Affairs from 1986 to 1987. He served as Teachta Dála (TD) for Mayo West from 1975 to 1997 and for Mayo from 1997 to 2020. Kenny led Fine Gael to a historic victory at the 2011 general election, his party becoming the largest in the country for the first time, forming a coalition government with the Labour Party on 9 March 2011. Enda Of Aran
Saint Enda of Aran (Éanna, Éinne or Endeus, died 530 AD) is an Irish saint. His feast day is 21 March. Enda was a warrior-king of Oriel in Ulster, converted by his sister, Saint Fanchea, an abbess. About 484 he established the first Irish monastery at Killeaney on Aran Mor. St Enda is described as the "patriarch of Irish monasticism". Most of the great Irish saints had some connection with Aran. Enda John Stevens (born 9 July 1990) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a left back for club Sheffield United and the Republic of Ireland national team. Enda Markey (born 3 June 1976) is an Irish-born, Sydney-based, theatrical producer and former singer and actor. He is the producer of the stage productions ''Side by Side by Sondheim'' and the international tour of Boublil and Schonberg's ''Do You Hear The People Sing?'', and the Australian revival of Willy Russell's '' Blood Brothers''. Performer Markey was born in Dublin. At sixteen, he was awarded a scholarship to train at London's Laine Theatre Arts' Musical Theatre Course. Enda Walsh (born 1967) is an Irish playwright. Biography Enda Walsh was born in Kilbarrack, North Dublin on February 7, 1967. His father ran a furniture shop and his mother had been an actress. He is the second youngest of six children. Walsh states that he saw his father, a salesman, as the 'lead actor' in the business, but as Ireland's economy fluctuated, so did furniture sales. Notably during the recession in the 1980s, when profits were low, Walsh says that he was earning more money managing his own newspaper round enterprise than his father was bringing home from the shop. Enda Kenny (singer)
Enda Kenny is an Irish-born Australian folk-singer and songwriter. Kenny was born in Dublin, and migrated to Melbourne in 1987. He released his debut album, ''Twelve Songs'', in 1994. Though self-recorded and self-released, the album received generally solid reviews, and was described by the ''Sydney Morning Herald'' as "the best folk album to be released in this country since Eric Bogle's "Scraps of Paper". It was followed by ''Baker's Dozen'' in 1996, which received similarly positive reviews. A song from that album, ''Rabin'', about assassinated former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, won the Lawson Paterson Award for Songwriting at the Port Fairy Folk Festival. This was followed with a third album, '' Six of One'' in 1998, which featured a number of covers, and was less well reviewed. Enda Gormley
Enda Gormley (born 8 March 1966) is a Gaelic footballer who played for the Derry county team in the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s. He played club football with Maghera club Glen, and currently plays with Belfast club Bredagh. Gormley was part of Derry's 1993 All-Ireland Championship winning side and is one of the county's highest ever scorers. Enda Gormley is one of only six Derry players who have won two All Stars. Enda Colleran (May 1942 – 8 April 2004) was an Irish Gaelic footballer and manager who played for the Mountbellew–Moylough club and at senior level for the Galway county team. Career A native of Moylough, Colleran's Gaelic football prowess was first noticed on the national stage in 1960 when he won an All-Ireland Minor Championship medal with Galway and a Hogan Cup medal with St Jarlath's College. Having made his Galway senior debut in 1961, he went on to play in four successive All-Ireland senior finals between 1963 and 1966, winning the latter three against Kerry (twice) and Meath. Enda McDonagh (27 June 1930 – 24 February 2021) was an Irish priest of the Catholic Church. He was ordained a priest in 1955 and served in the Archdiocese of Tuam. He was noted for being the official chaplain to Mary Robinson while she was President of Ireland. Early life and education McDonagh was born in Bekan, near Ballyhaunis, County Mayo, on 27 June 1930. Enda McCormick (born 1997/8) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who has played for Termon and both the Donegal and London county teams. He plays as a forward. McCormick represented Donegal at minor and under-20 level. He was part of the team that reached the 2016 All-Ireland Minor Football Championship semi-final.
