Enda Stevens
Enda John Stevens (born 9 July 1990) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a left back for club Stoke City and the Republic of Ireland national team. He will become a free agent on 30 June 2025. Stevens started his career in the League of Ireland with UCD, before gaining experience of European football with St Patrick's Athletic and Shamrock Rovers. Following Rovers' exit from the 2011–12 UEFA Europa League, Stevens joined Aston Villa in the Premier League. After a sequence of loan spells with, Notts County, Doncaster Rovers (two spells) and Northampton Town he signed for Portsmouth in 2015. He joined Sheffield United in May 2017 where he spent six-years earning promotion to the Premier League twice. He signed for Stoke City in the summer of 2023. The 2008 League of Ireland Premier Division was the 24th season of the League of Ireland Premier Division. The division was made up of 12 teams. Bohemians were champions while St Patrick's Athletic finished as runners-up. Club information Overview The regular season began on 7 March and concluded on 14 November. Each team played the other teams three times, totaling 33 games. Bohemians finished the season as champions, winning by a margin of nineteen points. Templeogue Synge Street ( Irish: ''Teach Mealóg Sráid Singe'') is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Dublin, Ireland. Synge Street Past Pupils G.F.C was founded in 1945 and Templeogue G.F.C formed in 1978. The two clubs were merged in 1999. They won the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship in 2008 giving them a coveted spot in the Dublin Senior Football Championship for 2009. As of 2008, the club was playing in AFL 1, AFL 5 and AFL 9. Grounds Dolphin Park is the club’s owned home ground. The club also extensively use Bushy Park for home matches. Dolphin Park originally belonged to Synge Street CBS but the club took over the ground on an 850 year lease in the early 2000s,. St. James Gaels, or ''Gaeil Naomh Shéamais'' in Irish, are a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Dublin, Ireland. St. James Gaels GAA Club was formed in July 1994 as the result of the amalgamation of An Caisleán and Guinness GAA Clubs. Both of these clubs had been in existence for many years but were struggling due to the increasing age profile within their respective base areas. Rather than allow two clubs to go out of existence, both sets of club officers agreed, following negotiation, to pool resources with a view to forming one club serving Walkinstown and surrounding areas.
