Templeogue Synge Street GAA
Templeogue Synge Street (Irish: ''Teach Mealóg Sráid Singe'') is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Dublin, Ireland. Synge Street Past Pupils G.F.C was founded in 1945 and Templeogue G.F.C formed in 1978. The two clubs were merged in 1999. They won the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship in 2008 giving them a coveted spot in the Dublin Senior Football Championship for 2009. They currently play in AFL 1, AFL 5 and AFL 9 Dolphin Park & Bushy Park Dolphin Park is the club’s owned home ground. The club also extensively use Bushy Park for home matches. Dolphin Park originally belonged to Synge Street CBS but the club took over the ground on an 850 year lease in the early 2000s, . Niyi Adeolokun
Niyi Adeolokun (born 3 November 1990) is an Irish rugby union player. He primarily plays as a winger. Currently unattached he most recently played for Bristol Bears & previously for Connacht. Adeolokun joined Connacht in 2014 from Trinity College. During his time with Dublin University, Adeolokun also played rugby sevens for the club. Early life Born in Ibadan, Nigeria, Adeolokun came to Ireland with his family in 2001 aged 11. Anton O'Toole
Anthony Thomas O'Toole (18 February 1951 – 17 May 2019) was an Irish Gaelic footballer. His league and championship career at senior level with the Dublin county team spanned thirteen seasons from 1972 to 1984, including six All-Ireland finals in a row. Eoghan O'Gara (born 24 September 1985) is a Gaelic footballer who played as a forward at senior level for the Dublin county team. O'Gara attended St. Josephs BNS primary school in Terenure. Playing career O'Gara made his Championship debut for Dublin coming on at half-time in place of Kevin McManamon. He had an immediate impact on the game, causing trouble for the Wexford defence in Dublin's comeback in the Leinster quarter final. Denis Bastick
Denis Bastick (born 8 May 1981) is a Gaelic footballer who plays for Templeogue Synge Street and, formerly, for the Dublin county team. Biography Bastick attended St. Josephs BNS Primary School in Terenure. Bastick's club side Templeogue Synge Street won promotion to the top league in Dublin football for 2007. Bastick was considered unlikely to feature in the 2007 league campaign for Dublin due to a cruciate knee injury. Bastick made his return to the inter-county scene in June 2007 by being named on the Dublin panel to Wicklow in the Leinster Junior Football Championship. The Dublin adult football league is divided up into a tier system of 13 teams.
