Emerald Park is an unincorporated community in Saskatchewan, Canada within the Rural Municipality (RM) of Edenwold No. 158. It is east of Regina and is adjacent to the Town of White City. The RM of Edenwold No. 158 was home to 4,490 residents in 2016 with an estimated 1,700 of those residents calling Emerald Park home. Over 130 businesses operate from Emerald Park, Great Plains Industrial Park and the Butte Business District. History Emerald Park was developed in the mid eighties. Initially, an auction house, agriculture implement dealerships and a gas station were the first structures in the area. Not long afterward a developer had a vision for a community of larger-lot homes built around a golf course. Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of ice toward a target area which is segmented into four concentric circles. It is related to bowls, boules, and shuffleboard. Pickleball is an indoor or outdoor racket/paddle sport where two players (singles), or four players (doubles), hit a perforated hollow polymer ball over a net using solid-faced paddles. Balgonie
Balgonie is a town in southeast Saskatchewan. Situated at the intersection of Highways 10, 46, and the Trans-Canada Highway, the town is part of the White Butte region and neighbours Pilot Butte, White City, and McLean. As well, it is located 25 kilometres east of the province's capital city, Regina. As of the 2016 census, Balgonie had a population of 1,765, an 8.3% growth from 2011. 2021 Canadian Census
The 2021 Canadian census was a detailed enumeration of the Canadian population with a reference date of May 11, 2021. It follows the 2016 Canadian census, which recorded a population of 35,151,728. The overall response rate was 98%, which is slightly lower than the response rate for the 2016 census. It recorded a population of 36,991,981, a 5.2% increase from 2016.
