Elpídio Silva
Elpídio Pereira Silva Filho (born 19 July 1975), known as Silva, is a Brazilian retired Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker. He spent most of his career in Portugal, mainly representing Boavista F.C., Boavista and amassing Primeira Liga totals of 187 matches and 62 goals over eight seasons. Other than in his country, Silva also competed professionally in Japan, South Korea and Cyprus. Club career Born in Campina Grande, Paraíba, Silva started his professional career with Clube Atlético Mineiro but quickly moved overseas, joining J1 League club Kashiwa Reysol. Campina Grande is the second most populous Brazilian city in the State of Paraíba after João Pessoa, the capital. The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. The 2003–04 Primeira Liga was the 70th edition of top flight of Portuguese football. It started 16 August 2003 with an opening game between Académica de Coimbra and Sporting Clube de Portugal, and ended on 9 May 2004. It was contested by 18 teams. FC Porto were the defending champions and became champions again, winning the Portuguese title in two consecutive seasons. 2002–03 UEFA Cup
The 2002–03 UEFA Cup was the 32nd edition of the UEFA Cup, the second-tier European club football tournament organised by UEFA. The final was played between Portuguese side Porto and Scottish side Celtic at the Estadio Olímpico de Sevilla, Seville, on 21 May 2003.
