Elitedivisionen Players
The Danish Women's League ( da, Danmarksturneringens Kvindeliga, Kvinde-DM Liga or Kvindeligaen) is a semi-professional top-flight league for women's football in Denmark. It is organised by the Danish Football Association (DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i kvindefodbold (Kvinde-DM) and is placed as the first division of the Danish football league system. Clubs in the league must meet certain criteria concerning appropriate facilities and finances. All of the league's clubs qualify for the proper rounds of the Danish Women's Cup, DBU KvindePokalen. The top teams of each season qualify for the UEFA Women's Champions League. The division has changed its name on several occasions. It has previously been known simply as Danmarksturneringen i damefodbold (1975 until 1980), Dame 1. division (1981 until 1992), Elitedivisionen (1993 until 2015–16) before settling with the current name, Kvindeligaen, beginning with the 2016–17 season. DR (broadcaster)
DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Founded in 1925 as a public-service organization, it is Denmark's oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. DR is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union. DR was originally funded by a media licence, however since 2022, the media license has been replaced by an addition to the Danish income tax. Kvindedivisionsforeningen, shortened to KDF, is a Trade association, trade, Advocacy group, special interest and employers' organization, employers' organisation for women's professional Football in Denmark, association football in Denmark and the elite clubs (or their companies) that partake in the Danish Women's League, Women's League, Danish Women's 1st Division, Women's 1st Division and Women's Under-18 Tournament, representing their interests, primarily towards the Danish Football Association (DBU), the Danish Football Players' Association (SF) and the local municipalities. Kolding IF
Kolding IF is an association football club based in Kolding, Denmark. The team competes in the Danish 2nd Division, the third tier of Danish football, after suffering relegation at the end of the 2020–21 season. Founded in 1895, Kolding IF played in the top-flight 1982 and 1983 Danish 1st Division championships. In 2002, they joined forces with Kolding Boldklub, the other major football club in Kolding, to form the cooperative Kolding FC first team. The joint club merged with Vejle Boldklub in 2011 to form Vejle Boldklub Kolding. This merger was dissolved in 2013 and Kolding IF reemerged. The club is currently playing in the Danish top division, the Elitedivisionen, and they play their home matches at the Kolding Stadium. The team was previously named KoldingQ. Fortuna Hjørring
Fortuna Hjørring is a women's association football team from Hjørring, Denmark. The club was formed in 1966 and play in green and white. Their biggest achievement in European football was reaching the 2002–03 UEFA Women's Cup final where they ultimately lost 1–7 on aggregate to Umeå IK. They are one of the two most successful clubs in Danish women's football, with among 11 titles. The next try at a European Cup came in 2009–10 with the newly created UEFA Women's Champions League.
