Elite Hotels Open
The Ahlsell Trophy is a women's professional golf tournament on the Swedish Golf Tour, first played in 2011. It is held near Jönköping, Sweden. The tournament was introduced in 2011, in the second season of the Nordea Tour era, and held at A6 Golf Club, named after the Jönköping Garrison of the Småland Artillery Regiment. Danish amateur Nanna Koerstz Madsen won the final installment at A6 Golf Club in 2013. Jönköping returned to the schedule with the Elite Hotels Open in 2022, now also as a LET Access Series event attracting a European field, with Czech Sára Kousková as champion. 2022 Swedish Golf Tour (women)
The 2022 Ahlsell Nordic Golf Tour was the 37th season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden and neighboring countries. Tournaments also featured on the 2022 LET Access Series (LETAS). Schedule The season consisted of 6 tournaments played between May and September, where one event was held in Denmark. Ranking 164 players from 28 countries appeared in the final Order of Merit. In addition to 19 European countries, players from New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, India, South Africa, Morocco and the United States participated. Patricia Isabel Schmidt of Germany won the Order of Merit following victory at the Big Green Egg Swedish Matchplay Championship and two further top-10 finishes. Cecilie Lundgreen (born 6 February 1973) is a Norwegian professional golfer. She played on the Ladies European Tour between 1999 and 2013, where her best finish was runner-up at the South African Women's Masters in 2001. Amateur career Lundgreen won the 1991 Norwegian Junior Championship and the 1994 Norwegian National Golf Championship. She represented Norway at the 1994 Espirito Santo Trophy, together with Line Berg and Vibeke Stensrud. Lundgreen attended Florida Atlantic University on a golf scholarship 1994–1997. She made an immediate impact, capturing Atlantic Sun Conference Golfer of the Year honors in 1994 after winning the conference tournament as a freshman. Josephine Janson (born 16 September 1991) is a retired Swedish professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour. The 2022 LET Access Series was a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from March through October 2022 across Europe. The LET Access Series is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in Europe and is the official developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. The season sees the introduction of the LETAS Grand Final, a season finale featuring the top 50 players in the Order of Merit, boasting the biggest prize fund in LETAS history with €80,000.
