Elisabeth Böhm
Elisabeth Böhm née Haggenmüller (18 June 1921, in Mindelheim – 6 September 2012 in Cologne) was a German architect. Frequently working together with her husband, Gottfried Böhm, she participated in the design of numerous projects, especially their interiors. Biography Böhm studied architecture at the Technical University Munich where she met Gottfried Böhm whom she married in 1948. Her husband took over the family architecture business in Cologne from his father Dominikus Böhm who died in 1955. Initially, Böhm spent most of her time at home raising their four children, only spending short periods at the office. She later returned to more intensive work, developing plans for housing projects and housing estates. Bergisch Gladbach
Bergisch Gladbach () is a city in the Cologne/Bonn Region of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, and capital of the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis (district). Geography Bergisch Gladbach is located east of the river Rhine, approx. 10 kilometers east of Cologne. Neighbouring municipalities Beginning in the north clockwise the neighbouring municipalities and neighbouring towns are: Odenthal, Kürten, Overath, Rösrath, Cologne and Leverkusen. History Early settlements existed in the 13th century, but the town was officially founded in 1856. The word ''Bergisch'' in the name does not originate from its location in the county of Berg and was not added to distinguish it from Mönchengladbach as believed by many people, but from the counts who gave their name to the region. Bonn

Godesburg
300px, Godesburg castle in Germany. The Godesburg is a castle in Bad Godesberg, a formerly independent part of Bonn, Germany. Built in the early 13th century on the Godesberg, a hill of volcanic origin, it was largely destroyed following a siege in 1583 at the start of the Cologne War. In 1891, the German emperor Wilhelm II donated the castle's ruin to the city of Bad Godesberg. In 1959, the ruin was rebuilt according to plans by Gottfried Böhm, to house a hotel and restaurant. Today, the restaurant is still in operation, but the hotel tract has been divided into apartments. Location The site has a controversial history. Growing out of the nineteenth-century ''Heimat'' movement, historians speculated that in the pre-Christian era, the inhabitants probably used the peak to call to the god ''Wotan'', the god of war, death and the hunt, and other attributes, establishing a custom that led eventually to the erection of a house of prayer on the site.
