Eline Berings (born 28 May 1986) is a Belgian athlete, who competes in the 100 m hurdles. She is the 2005 European junior champion, and took her first medal as a senior by winning the 2009 European Indoor Championships. Her personal best times are 12.72 and 7.92 in the 100 and 60 m hurdles respectively. Biography Junior career Berings was born in Ghent. As a junior athlete she finished seventh at the 2003 World Youth Championships, failed to reach the final at the 2004 World Junior Championships, and won the gold medal at the 2005 European Junior Championships. Eline Eriksen
Eline Eriksen (1881 – 1963), born Eline Vilhelmine Møller, was the wife (since 1900) of Edvard Eriksen and the model for the body of the ''Little Mermaid'' statue in Copenhagen, Denmark. The face of that statue was modeled after ballerina Ellen Price. Before this Eriksen had stood model for several of her husband's statues, such as ''The First Grief'' and ''The Sufferer''. Eline Flipse (born in 1954 in Wageningen, the Netherlands) is a film director of documentaries. Flipse studied at the Film Academy in Amsterdam, where she got her degree in 1978. In 1982, she made her first documentary, ''Het Verschijnsel B'', about bibliophily. She directed her first documentary for Scarabee Films in 1995; ''Broken Silence'' was about five young Chinese composers. The film won many international awards, including the Grand Prix of the Visions du Réel documentary film festival in Nyon, Switzerland, the Grand Prize Ethos Bacao (Romania), and the Best Discovery Documentary, Festival Du Nouveau Cinema in Montreal. It also was nominated for best feature-length documentary at the Dutch Film Festival. Eline (Ellen Marie) Heger, née ''Schmidt'' (13 December 1774 in Copenhagen – 6 June 1842 in Tårbæk), was a Danish stage actress. She was the daughter of Thomas Schmidt and Anne Reinsdorf. Eline Jurg (born 30 May 1973 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch bobsledder who has competed since 1996. Competed in two Winter Olympics, she earned her best finish of sixth in the two-woman event at Salt Lake City in 2002. She drove in two-woman with Christel Bertens. Jurg and Bertens appeared on their first Olympics at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Eline Nygaard Riisnæs (5 July 1913 – 3 February 2011) was a Norwegian pianist and musicologist at UiO, mother of the pianist and piano pedagog Anne Eline Riisnæs (1951-), and the saxophonists Knut Riisnæs (1945-) and Odd Riisnæs (1953-). Marie Eline (February 27, 1902 – January 3, 1981) was an American silent film child actress and sister of Grace Eline. Their mother was an actress. Eline acted on stage for three years before she acted in films. Nicknamed "The Thanhouser Kid", she began acting for the Thanhouser Company in New Rochelle, New York, at the age of eight and starred in exactly one hundred films between 1910 and 1914. By August 1915, Eline headed her own vaudeville company, presenting a playlet. In 1929, the Eline sisters formed a specialty act that was featured in an "'all-girl' show" that performed in Atlanta, Georgia. The duo was still performing in 1932. Intense Tropical Cyclone Leon–Eline was the longest-lived Indian Ocean tropical cyclone on record, traveling over during its 29‑day trek through the Indian Ocean, throughout the entire month of February.
