Eline Berings
Eline Berings (born 28 May 1986) is a Belgian athlete, who competes in the 100 m hurdles. She is the 2005 European junior champion, and took her first medal as a senior by winning the 2009 European Indoor Championships. Her personal best times are 12.72 and 7.92 in the 100 and 60 m hurdles respectively. Biography Junior career Berings was born in Ghent. As a junior athlete she finished seventh at the 2003 World Youth Championships, failed to reach the final at the 2004 World Junior Championships, and won the gold medal at the 2005 European Junior Championships. Lede () is a municipality in the Belgian province of East Flanders, in the Denderstreek near the cities of Ghent, Aalst and Dendermonde. 2014 European Athletics Championships
The 2014 European Athletics Championships was held in Zürich, Switzerland, between 12 and 17 August 2014. It was the first time that Switzerland had hosted the European Athletics Championships since 1954. The 2010 European Athletics Championships were the 20th edition of the European Athletics Championships, organised under the supervision of the European Athletic Association. 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships
The 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics was held between 12 and 14 March at the Aspire Dome in Doha, Qatar. The championships was the first of six IAAF World Athletics Series events to take place in 2010. Bidding and organisation The IAAF announced on March 25, 2007, at an IAAF Council meeting in Mombasa, Kenya that it had received bids from Turkey and Qatar to host the championships. Ljubica Christina Vukicevic Demidov ( sr, Ljubica Kristina Vukićević, Љубица Кристина Вукићевић, ; born 18 June 1987) is a Norwegian former hurdler. She represented Ski IL, and was coached by her father Petar Vukićević, who participated for Yugoslavia in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. Her brother, Vladimir Vukicevic, is also a hurdler. Her gold medal in the 2003 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival in Paris was her first international medal. She finished fifth at the 2004 World Junior Championships, and won a silver medal at the 2005 European Junior Championships in Kaunas. She was forced to take a prolonged break during the summer of 2005 due to a knee-injury and the following surgery. Derval O'Rourke
Derval O'Rourke (born 28 May 1981) is an Irish former sprint hurdles athlete. She competed internationally in the 60 and 100 metres hurdles, and is the Irish national record holder in both events. She participated in two Indoor World Championships, five Outdoor World Championships and the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Summer Olympics. Early life and education Born in Cork, O'Rourke attended University College, Dublin (UCD) where she held a sports scholarship between 2000 and 2004. She graduated with a BA (Hons) degree from the college in 2003 and a Diploma in Business Studies from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business in 2005. Lucie Škrobáková (; born 4 January 1982) is a Czech athlete who competes in the 60 metres hurdles and 100 metres hurdles. She is the 2001 European junior bronze medallist, and took the silver medal at the 2009 European Indoor Championships. Heusden-Zolder (; li, Heuze-Zolder ) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg near Hasselt. On 1 January 2006 Heusden-Zolder had a total population of 30,769.
