El Perelló is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Baix Ebre in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated in the north of the ''comarca'', below the Boix and Cabrafeixet ranges. L'Ampolla is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Baix Ebre in Catalonia, Spain. It was created in 1990 by the division of the municipality of el Perelló. It is situated on the coast south of l'Ametlla de Mar, and is an important tourist centre and minor fishing port. L'Ametlla De Mar
L'Ametlla de Mar (), also called ''la Cala'' ('the bay' or 'the beach'), is a municipality within the comarca of Baix Ebre, situated in the coastal region between the "Cap de Terme" (to the North) and the "barranc de l'Àliga" (to the south). It is limited to the south by the boundary with El Perelló, to the north-west with that of Tivissa, the Ebro riviera, and to the north-east with that of Vandellós and l'Hospitalet de l'Infant, (Baix Camp). Fishing continues to be one of the principal activities of the town. The port area of Ametlla has a large fleet of fishing boats which fish using various methods, such as trawling, and also has the principal fleet of tuna fishing boats in Catalonia. Tivissa
Tivissa is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of Ribera d'Ebre, Catalonia, Spain. It is located below the La Llena massif. As well as the village of Tivissa itself, the municipality also includes the village of La Serra d'Almos, at the feet of the Montalt mountains, and the hamlets of Darmós and Llaberia. History The area was settled in prehistoric times, and cave paintings have been discovered in several sites near the village. In Iberian times, Tivissa was an important community, and the name itself may be of Iberian origin. There are the remains of an Iberian settlement at Banyoles, some five kilometres from the modern village and overlooking the Ebre river. The importance of these settlements was surely related to their position on the route through the pass of Coll de Fatxes, leading from the coast of Tarragona to what is now Zaragoza. Rasquera
Rasquera is a municipality in the comarca of Ribera d'Ebre in the province of Tarragona in Catalonia, Spain. It is located at the feet of the Serra de Cardó close to Highway C-12. The town is renowned for its basketwork and the production of "pastissets," a sweet pasty. In 2012 the municipality voted to sign a 1.3 million euro deal with a cannabis association based in Barcelona, under which the municipality would lease land to the association to be used for growing the drug. Cabrafeixet
Morral de Cabrafeixet is one of the highest mountains of the Cardó Massif, Catalan Pre-Coastal Range, Catalonia, Spain. Its NW side has an impressive escarpment visible from Highway N-340 approaching El Perelló from the north. This mountain has an elevation of 753 metres above sea level. ''Balma de Cabrafeixet'' is a prehistoric site with cave paintings located right below the Morral de Cabrafeixet escarpment. The entrance to the cave has been closed with an iron bar door to prevent vandalism. Wild flowers and butterflies are abundant in this lonely, uninhabited area.
