Rasquera
Rasquera is a municipality in the comarca of Ribera d'Ebre in the province of Tarragona in Catalonia, Spain. It is located at the feet of the Serra de Cardó close to Highway C-12. The town is renowned for its basketwork and the production of "pastissets," a sweet pasty. In 2012 the municipality voted to sign a 1.3 million euro deal with a cannabis association based in Barcelona, under which the municipality would lease land to the association to be used for growing the drug. Autovia C-12
The C-12 is a highway in Catalonia, Spain, that connects Lleida with Tortosa and the Ebre river delta. For much of its length it runs along the lower Ebre valley. North of Lleida the road follows the Noguera valley before joining the C-13. Autovia C-12 cuts across the westernmost end of the Cardó Massif, above the final Ebro Gorges. Tivissa
Tivissa is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of Ribera d'Ebre, Catalonia, Spain. It is located below the La Llena massif. As well as the village of Tivissa itself, the municipality also includes the village of La Serra d'Almos, at the feet of the Montalt mountains, and the hamlets of Darmós and Llaberia. History The area was settled in prehistoric times, and cave paintings have been discovered in several sites near the village. In Iberian times, Tivissa was an important community, and the name itself may be of Iberian origin.
