Eduardo Medica
Eduardo Medica (born 10 February 1976) is a former professional tennis player from Argentina. Career Medica was coached during his career by Ruben Puerta. He won a Challenger tournament with Puerta's son, Mariano, at Cali in 1997. The best win of his career came at the 1998 Movistar Open, in Santiago, where he defeated world number 58 Fernando Meligeni. He was eliminated in the second round by second seed Félix Mantilla. His only other second round appearance on the ATP Tour came at Casablanca in 1999. He now coaches Gianluigi Quinzi Gianluigi Quinzi (; born 1 February 1996), is a former tennis player from Italy. Marco Osorio (born 1 April 1972) is a former professional tennis player from Mexico. Biography Osorio made his first appearance at ATP Tour level in 1997, at his home tournament in Mexico City. It was the only time he made the main draw of a singles event and he was beaten in first round by Alejandro Hernández. As a doubles player he won two Challenger tournaments and had his best ATP Tour performance at the 1998 Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington, where he teamed up with Bobby Kokavec to make the quarter-finals. He played Davis Cup for the first time in 1998, when the Mexican team went to Cali to compete against Colombia and lost 2–3. His only appearance came in the doubles, which he and partner David Roditi lost in a five set match. In 1999 he featured in two further ties for Mexico, wins over Paraguay and Cuba. Bernardo Martínez Jacques (born 21 August 1972) is a Mexican former professional tennis player. Martínez, a native of Mexico City, competed on the professional tour as a doubles specialist, reaching a best ranking of 128 in the world. He won two doubles titles on the ATP Challenger Tour. Between 1992 and 1995, Martínez played collegiate tennis for Texas A&M, forming a successful doubles partnership with Mark Weaver. The pair were the 1994 Southwest Conference No. 1 doubles champions. Christian Ruud
Christian Ruud (born 24 August 1972) is a Norwegian former tennis player who turned professional in 1991. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 39 in October 1995, reaching the fourth round of the 1997 Australian Open and the quarterfinals of the 1997 Monte Carlo Masters. He retired in 2001 after the 2001 French Open. He was the highest ranked Norwegian male player ever on the ATP Tour until his son Casper Ruud surpassed him in February 2020. Ruud was born in Oslo, and represented Norway at three consecutive Olympic Games, reaching the third round in Atlanta in 1996.
