Edmar Halovskyi de Lacerda ( uk, Едмар Галовський де Ласерда; born 16 June 1980) often known as simply Edmar, born as Edmar de Lacerda Aparecida, is a retired professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Born in Brazil, he was naturalized as a Ukrainian and has played fifteen times and scored one goal for the Ukraine national football team. Career Club On 21 February 2017, Boca Raton announced the signing of Edmar. International Edmar made his debut for Ukraine on 10 August 2011, in a 0–1 loss against Sweden in a friendly match at his club ground in Kharkiv, replacing Ruslan Rotan for the final 17 minutes. Football Club Metalist Kharkiv ( uk, Футбо́льний Клуб Металі́ст Ха́рків ) is a Ukrainian football club based in Kharkiv that plays in the Ukrainian First League during the 2021–22 season. It was revived 5 years after the original FC Metalist Kharkiv ceased operations. Founded in 1925, FC Metalist Kharkiv had worked its way up the rungs of the Soviet football system, eventually being promoted to the Soviet Top League in 1960. Ruslan Petrovych Rotan ( uk, Руслан Петрович Ротань; born 29 October 1981) is a Ukrainian former professional footballer and manager of Ukraine national under-21 football team. He was a member of the Ukraine national team. Club career Rotan's career started off for Dnipro in the 1999–2000 season. He played a total of 105 matches for Dnipro and scored 11 goals. He transferred to Dynamo Kyiv in the summer of 2005 and was given the number 14. In Dynamo, he played 50 matches and scored five goals in the Ukrainian Premier League. Simferopol () is the second-largest city in the Crimea, Crimean Peninsula.
