Domenico Fischietti
Domenico Fischietti (1725–1810) was an Italian composer. He was born in Naples and studied at the Conservatory of Sant'Onofrio Porta Capuana under the leadership of Leonardo Leo and Francesco Durante. His first opera, ''Armindo'', premiered in 1742 at the Teatro dei Fiorentini in Naples, though there are doubts about whether he could have started composing at such a young age - it may have been by his father. In 1755 he was in Venice to present ''Lo speziale'' (the apothecary), the first opera with a libretto by Carlo Goldoni. He followed this success with ''La ritornata a Londra'' (The Return to London) in 1756, ''Il mercato di Malmantile'' (The Market of Malmantile) in 1758, ''Il signor dottore'' (The Doctor) also in 1758, and ''La fiera di Sinigaglia'' in 1760. Maria Anna Walburga Ignatia Mozart (30 July 1751 – 29 October 1829), called "Marianne" and nicknamed Nannerl, was a musician, the older sister of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756–1791) and daughter of Leopold (1719–1787) and Anna Maria Mozart (1720–1778). Giovanni Ambrogio Migliavacca
Giovanni Ambrogio Migliavacca ( 1718 – c. 1795) was an Italian poet and librettist. A student and protégé of Metastasio, he was primarily active in the court theaters of Dresden and Vienna. His most successful work was the libretto for the opera ''Solimano'', first set by Johann Adolph Hasse in 1753 and subsequently set by 18 other composers in the course of the next 50 years. Life and career Migliavacca was born in Milan around 1718, but the exact date of his birth as well as his parentage and early life are unknown. Much of the information about his life has come from Metastasio's letters. Migliavacca's first appearance as a literary figure was in Milan in 1736, when at the age 18 he edited a collection of poetic tributes dedicated to the Duke of Noailles. ''Lo speziale'' (''The Apothecary''), Hob. 28/3, is a three-act opera buffa by Joseph Haydn, with a libretto by Carlo Goldoni. A love triangle between the poor apprentice Mengone, the rich and assured dandy Volpino, and the local apothecary's ward, Grilletta, ''Lo speziale'' is a comedy of great warmth and ebullience. ''Lo speziale'' prefigures Mozart. It opens with an aria complaining about an apprentice apothecary's job, much like Leporello's opening aria in ''Don Giovanni''. The trouser role of Volpino reminds one of Cherubino in ''Le nozze di Figaro'' and the young lovers' use of disguises will call ''Così fan tutte'' to mind. Pietro Antonio Domenico Trapassi (3 January 1698 – 12 April 1782), better known by his pseudonym of Pietro Metastasio (), was an Italian poet and librettist, considered the most important writer of '' opera seria'' libretti.
