Dile Que La Quiero
Spain participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 with an entry selected through a national preselection called ''Eurocanción 2001''. David Civera with the song "Dile que la quiero", composed by Alejandro Abad (Spanish entrant in 1994), was chosen to represent Spain. At Eurovision, David Civera finished sixth with 76 points. Before Eurovision Eurocanción 2001 ''Eurocanción 2001'' is the national final developed by RTVE in order to select Spain's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2001. The competition took place on 23 February 2001 at TVE's studios in Madrid, and was hosted by Jennifer Rope and Sandra Morey. Format The winner was decided by a nine-member jury panel (75%) and public televoting (25%). Each jury member awarded points in the Eurovision style of 12, 10, 8-1 point(s). David Civera
David Civera Gracia (born in Teruel, Aragón, Spain on 8 January 1979) is a Spanish singer. Biography Civera was born in Teruel, in 1979. His parents are José and Pilar and he has two sisters, Sonia is older than David, and Andrea is the youngest. David studied Computer Studies and Communications but he preferred music and wanted to sing. His father traveled with him from Teruel to Valencia where David received solfège, guitar and piano classes twice a month. He won a national karaoke TV show and participated in other TV programs (''El sur de Jerez'', ''Las estrellas del parque'' etc.). Then, in 1996, he took part in the TV show '' Lluvia de estrellas'', where participants impersonated a fashionable artist. He impersonated Enrique Iglesias with the song "Experiencia religiosa". Sharonne is the stage name of Cristóbal Garrido (born June 1, 1976). Sharonne is a Spanish drag queen, actress, and singer. She was the winner of season 2 of ''Drag Race España''. Artistic career Cristóbal Garrido started his artistic career at a very young age in the world of amateur theater. He began studying management, but changed course to focus on performance. He studied acting at Escuela TRAM Expressió and dance at Escuela de CO&CO, both in Barcelona. La Década Prodigiosa (; "The Prodigious Decade"), also known as just La Década, is a Spaniards, Spanish music group formed in the mid-Eighties that participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 1988. La Década Prodigiosa came up in 1985 as a project directed by Javier de Juan (Drum kit, drums), Manel Santisteban (piano) and Manuel Aguilar (Bass guitar, bass) to produce an album of Medley (music), medleys of popular Spanish songs from the sixties. Alejandro Antonio García Abad (born 22 September 1962 in Santiago, Chile), better known as Alejandro Abad, is a Chilean-born Spanish singer-songwriter and music producer, known for participating at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest.
