Denise Crusade Ricciardi (born December 16, 1961) is an American politician from New Hampshire. A Republican Party (United States), Republican, she has represented the New Hampshire's 9th State Senate district, 9th district of the New Hampshire Senate since 2020, defeating Democratic Party (United States), Democratic incumbent Jeanne Dietsch. The New Hampshire Senate has been meeting since 1784. It is the upper house of the New Hampshire General Court, alongside the lower New Hampshire House of Representatives. It consists of 24 members representing Senate districts based on population. As of December 2, 2020, there are 14 Republicans and 10 Democrats. It has the fewest members among upper legislative chambers in the United States. New Hampshire's 9th State Senate district is one of 24 districts in the New Hampshire Senate. It has been represented by Republican Denise Ricciardi since 2020, following her defeat of incumbent Democrat Jeanne Dietsch. Jeanne Dietsch
Jeanne Dietsch (born April 16, 1952) is an American politician and businesswoman who served as a Democratic member of the New Hampshire Senate, representing the 9th district from 2018 to 2020. Early life and education Dietsch was born in Kenton and grew up in Marion, Ohio, with her parents and three brothers. Dietsch attended Western Michigan University, where she graduated with a B.S. in 1974. Career Dietsch co-founded ActivMedia Robotics in 1995, and was its CEO until the company was sold in 2010 to Adept Technology. The company is now owned by Omron Automation. Dietsch, along with Patrick Joseph McGovern, also served as the president of TALMIS, a market research firm which studied the use of computers in homes and schools. Bedford is a town in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States. At the 2020 census, the population was 23,322, reflecting a growth of 10% from 2010. Bedford is a suburb of Manchester, New Hampshire's largest city.
