De Proefbrouwerij is a Flemish brewery founded in 1996 by Dirk Naudts and his wife Saskia Waerniers. The brewery is located in the village of Lochristi, near Ghent. They operate as a rental brewery, creating beers for third party brewers, as well as producing their own beers. They also operate a research and development department focused on the science of brewing. De Proef Beers The brewery releases its own brand of beers under the moniker "Reinaert", these include: a flemish red ale (9%), an amber beer (7%), a tripel (9%), and a grand cru (9.5%). Gypsy Brewers The brewery operates predominantly as a rental brewery, and provide the brewing facilities to many gypsy breweries who do not have their own facilities, or who want to produce experimental small batch beers. Surly Brewing Company
The Surly Brewing Company is an American craft brewery with facilities in Minneapolis and Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, and is noted for primarily canning beers, rather than bottling. Initially available only in and around the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area, the company expanded distribution to include all of Minnesota and at least 12 states and several international markets. During the early 2010s, Surly experienced rapid growth, with production of 21,000 barrels in 2012, 28,000 barrels in 2013, and 47,757 barrels in 2015. Surly's brewing system in Brooklyn Center is a 30 beer barrel (BBL) Sprinkman, one of four identical systems produced by Sprinkman of Wisconsin. The Minneapolis location has a 100 barrel system. Omnipollo is a Swedish microbrewery known for its innovative style of beers and vivid, imaginative beer can design. Omnipollo started as a "gypsy brewery", but as of 2020 Omnipollo has its own brewery, located inside an old church in Stockholm, Sweden. Reynaert (born Joseph Reynaerts; 24 July 1955 – 5 November 2020) was a Belgian singer-songwriter, best known for his participation in the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest. Early career Reynaert was born in Seraing, and started busking at the age of 18. In 1978 he won the annual music competition in the town of Spa with the song "Cerf-volant" ("Kite"), which was released as a single.
