Danish Ladies Open
The Danish Ladies Open was a women's professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour played between 1988 and 1997, the national open golf championship of Denmark. The tournament also featured on the Swedish Golf Tour in 1988, 1989, and 2002, as well as again from 2022, when it was also an LET Access Series event. At only 18, Florence Descampe became the LET's youngest winner at the time when she won the inaugural event in 1988. It was succeeded on the LET schedule in 2005 by the Danish Ladies Masters. Lisa Hed
Lisa Hed (born 5 July 1973) is a Swedish professional golfer. She played on the Ladies European Tour and was runner-up at the 2000 Ladies Austrian Open. Career Hed turned professional in 1993 and joined the Swedish Golf Tour. In 1997, she came close to securing her maiden professional title, losing a playoff for the Volvo Anläggningsmaskiner Ladies Open. By 1999, she had hit her stride, recording nine top-10 finishes including two wins, and ended the 1999 season top of the Order of Merit. In 2000, she won four tournaments including the Felix Finnish Ladies Open, and in 2002, she won the Nykredit Ladies Open in Denmark. She lost the final of the 2008 SM Match to Anna Nordqvist. The 2002 Swedish Golf Tour, known as the Telia Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the 17th season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Anna Becker won two events and Riikka Hakkarainen from Finland won the Order of Merit, the first non-Swedish season champion. Antonella Cvitan (born 3 September 1980) is a Swedish professional golfer and former Ladies European Tour player. Career Cvitan turned professional in 2001 and joined the Ladies European Tour, having finished 26th at Q-School. She played on the LET until 2010. 2007 was her best season, with top-15 finishes at the Ladies Open of Portugal and Ladies Scottish Open. The LET Access Series is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in Europe and is the official developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. The 2020 Swedish Golf Tour was the 35th season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden. Schedule The season saw an attempt to rebrand the existing set of tournaments as a pan- Nordic tour, and launch the Nordic Golf Tour (NGT). However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the events outside Sweden were cancelled and the remaining Swedish events were removed from the 2020 LET Access Series (LETAS) schedule. Amalie Leth-Nissen (born 15 September 2004) is a Danish professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour. As an amateur, she was runner-up at the 2021 Terre Blanche Ladies Open and the 2022 Smørum Ladies Open on the LET Access Series. Early life and family Leth-Nissen was born in 2004 and grew up in Herlev, a suburb of Copenhagen. She was introduced to golf by her father in 2013, when she was 8 years old.
