Daniel "Dani" Gómez Alcón (born 30 July 1998) is a Spanish professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), forward for Levante UD. Club career Born in Alcorcón, Community of Madrid, Gómez joined Real Madrid CF, Real Madrid's youth setup in 2011, from AD Alcorcón. Promoted to Real Madrid Castilla, the reserves for the 2017–18 Segunda División B, 2017–18 season, he made his senior debut on 19 August 2017, starting and scoring his team's only in a 2–1 Segunda División B home loss against CF Rayo Majadahonda. On 26 July 2018, Gómez renewed his contract with ''Los Blancos''. On 15 July of the following year, he agreed to a one-year loan deal with Segunda División side CD Tenerife. Alcorcón () is a city and municipality of Spain located in the Community of Madrid. as of 2020, it had a population of 172,384. On 12 March 2020 after most of teams had played 31 games, the league was suspended for at least two weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. The league was suspended indefinitely on 23 March. The season recommenced on 10 June and was initially planned to be completed on 20 July. On 20 July 2020, the final day of the regular season, Deportivo La Coruña's match against Fuenlabrada was suspended indefinitely due to several Fuenlabrada players testing positive for COVID-19, therefore, delaying the official end of the season.
