The Panthers are one of the most successful American football clubs in Germany, having won six German Bowls as well as becoming the first-ever German team to win the Eurobowl in 1995. Having won its 15th ''German Junior Bowl, Junior Bowl'' in 2010, the club has the most successful youth department in the sport in Germany.

Rhein Fire (NFL Europe)
The Rhein Fire was a professional football team in the NFL Europe, formerly the World League of American Football. Established in Germany in 1995, the franchise resurrected the name of the former Birmingham Fire team which was active during the 1991–1992 WLAF seasons. History The team was based in Düsseldorf (and early on was occasionally referred to in the U.S. as the Düsseldorf Fire), playing its games in LTU arena since 2005 season. Prior to this the team played in Rheinstadion until 2002 and in FC Schalke 04's Arena AufSchalke from 2003 to 2004 in nearby city Gelsenkirchen while LTU arena was being built. The team shared facilities with the football (soccer) club Fortuna Düsseldorf. 2020 German Football League
The 2020 German Football League season was the planned 42nd edition of the top-level American football competition in Germany. The regular season was expected to start on 25 April and was expected to end on 6 September 2020, followed by the play-offs. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the start of the season was first postponed, and later completely cancelled. The season was expected to conclude with German Bowl XLII, which was planned to be held on 10 October 2020 in Frankfurt. Instead German Bowl XLII was held on October 9, 2021 to end the 2021 German Football League season. Elmshorn Fighting Pirates
The Elmshorn Fighting Pirates are an American football team from Elmshorn, Germany. The club's greatest achievement is winning the championship in the GFL2 North in 2019 and - after winning the promotion/relegation round against the Düsseldorf Panther qualifying for the 2020 season in the top tier German Football League. However, as the 2020 season was never played due to Covid-19, and with competition from a Hamburg based team in the upstart European League of Football ("ELF") worsening the doubtful financial situation, the Fighting Pirates ultimately withdrew from the GFL without ever having played a single match in their "theoretical" year of league membership. The Hamburg Huskies are an American football team in Hamburg, Germany. The club's greatest success came in 2014 when it won the northern division of the German Football League 2 and earned promotion to the German Football League. Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns
The Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns are an American football team from Schwäbisch Hall, Germany.
