Berlin Rebels
The Berlin Rebels are an American football team from Berlin, Germany. The team is playing in the German Football League, the highest level of American football in Germany. In the most recent seasons the Rebels managed to qualify for the play-offs. At junior level, the club had more success, having taken out the German Junior Bowl on three occasions, in 1992, 1996 and 2000. History The club was formed in 1987, as the American Football department of the SC Charlottenburg. The ''Rebels'' entered league football in 1988, playing for a season in the third tier Verbandsliga Nord before entering the 2nd American Football Bundesliga, now the GFL 2, in the following year. The club spent three seasons there until a division championship, won without dropping a game, earned it promotion to Germany's highest league. Kiel Baltic Hurricanes
The Kiel Baltic Hurricanes are an American football team based in Kiel, Germany. The club has been, of recent, a strong force in the sport in Germany, playing in five consecutive German Bowls from 2008 to 2012, losing the first two, winning the third, and losing the fourth and fifth. The club is part of the American Sports Club Kiel e.V. History Founded in 1988, the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes first took part in competitive football in 1989, when they entered the tier-four ''Landesliga Nord''. The club had some quick success, reaching the tier-two ''2nd Bundesliga Nord'' by 1993. After back-to-back championships in this league, the Hussicanes played in the ''1st Bundesliga Nord'' from 1996. This league would eventually become the German Football League. The Hurricanes reached the play-offs from 1997 to 2000, making it to the semi finals once, in 1999, but were relegated in 2002.

The 2022 German Football League season is the 43rd edition of the top-level American football competition in Germany. The regular season started on 21 May and ended on 28 August 2022, followed by the play-offs. The season culminated in the German Bowl XLIII, which was held on 2 October 2022 in Frankfurt, where the north champion Potsdam Royals met the south champion Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns. 2021 German Football League
The 2021 German Football League season was the 42nd edition of the top-level American football competition in Germany. It was the first season after the 2020 season had to be cancelled due to Covid-19. The regular season started on 5 June and ended on 5 September 2021, followed by the play-offs. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the start of the season was more than one month later than in other years. The Covid-19 pandemic as well as the European League of Football "raiding" the GFL for coaches, players and even entire teams led to the withdrawal of the Hildesheim Invaders, the Elmshorn Fighting Pirates (both GFL North) and the Ingolstadt Dukes (GFL South) before the season began.
