Dyscord were an Australian metalcore band from Perth. In 2006 they released their debut extended play, ''Arming Within'', through independent label Prime Cuts and toured Australia supporting international bands, God Forbid and The Black Dahlia Murder. In 2008 they released their debut full-length album, ''Dakota'', produced by Adam Spark (of Birds of Tokyo) at Wing Command Studios. ''Dakota'' was positively received in critical reviews and was toured nationally both on an independent headlining tour and alongside Tennessee's Whitechapel and Tasmania's Psycroptic. They have supported international groups, Machine Head, Carcass, Arch Enemy, Trivium, Killswitch Engage, Unearth, As I Lay Dying, the Haunted, Mudvayne, Ill Niño, Static-X, Darkest Hour, as well as Australian bands, Parkway Drive, I Killed the Prom Queen, Double Dragon and Truth Corroded. Unearth is an American metalcore band from Boston, Massachusetts. Formed in 1998, the group has released seven studio albums. History Early career (1998–2002) Unearth was formed by Trevor Phipps, Buz McGrath, Ken Susi, Mike Rudberg, and Chris Rybicki in Boston, Massachusetts in 1998. The band began as Point 04 (containing McGrath, Rudberg, and Rybicki), and Susi was recruited soon afterwards. The band attempted to recruit Phipps while he recovered from appendicitis, but Phipps was reluctant to join. However, when Phipps showed up to a jam session for one of Susi's side bands, Unearth was practicing instead, and Phipps agreed to join after hearing the song "Shattered by the Sun." I Killed the Prom Queen were an Australian metalcore band from Adelaide, formed in 2000. They were prominent in the Australian live music scene and toured the US, Japan and parts of Europe several times. They issued three studio albums: ''When Goodbye Means Forever...'' Ill Niño (stylized as ill niño) is an American metal band formed in Union City, New Jersey, in 1998 by drummer and percussionist Dave Chavarri. They have released seven studio albums, two EPs and one compilation album, totaling in over 1.3 million worldwide album sales.
