Dragony is a power metal band from Vienna, Austria, which incorporates elements of symphonic metal in their style. History First steps Dragony was founded in 2007 by guitarist Daniel Stockinger and lead vocalist Siegfried Samer. Originally conceived as a studio rock opera project and accordingly named "The Dragonslayer Project", the project quickly evolved into a full band when new members Andreas Poppernitsch (guitars), Georg Lorenz (keyboards), Frederic Brünner (drums) and Herbert Glos (Bass) joined the group. After playing several smaller shows on the Austrian circuit, the band soon played their first support shows for international acts such as Firewind and Paul Di'Anno. The band continued to play live throughout 2009 and 2010, sharing the stage with renowned Melodic Metal acts such as Serenity, Axxis, Edenbridge and Sonata Arctica. Napalm Records is an Austrian independent record label focused on heavy metal and hard rock. 70000 Tons of Metal (officially stylized as 70000TONS OF METAL) is an annual heavy metal music festival that takes place on board a cruise ship. The event is a five-day festival, including one shore day at a select Caribbean destination. History The first 70000 Tons of Metal was held in 2011, and until 2014, 70000 Tons of Metal took place on board the cruise liner ''Majesty of the Seas''. In 2015, the festival moved to the cruise liner ''Liberty of the Seas'' and then to '' Independence of the Seas'' in 2016. From 2011 to 2014, the festival took place between Monday and Friday, and then from Thursday to Monday beginning in 2015. From 2011 to 2014, the cruise departed from PortMiami in Miami, Florida. Masters of Rock is a large heavy metal music festival in the Czech Republic. The main styles represented on this festival are power, speed and heavy metal, though the production tries to make the fest more open for other rock and metal styles, such as progressive rock/metal, hardcore, death metal or even ska. Ralf Scheepers
Ralf Scheepers (born 5 February 1965) is the vocalist for the German heavy metal band Primal Fear. He has a relatively high-pitched tenor-esque singing voice and sometimes uses a shriek reminiscent of Judas Priest's Rob Halford, although it is his baritone lows which give him a near four-octave range in the modal register. He has also sung in Gamma Ray and Tyran' Pace. Scheepers has also done guest vocals for the bands Avantasia, Scanner, Therion, Ayreon, and Shadow Gallery, and worked with Tom Galley on Phenomena's ''Blind Faith'' album. He currently provides instruction for all around singing, music, studio and recording/processing techniques at RS Vocal Works in Baltmannsweiler, Germany. Freedom Call is a German power metal band formed in 1998. The band tours regularly and the current line-up includes two original members including lead vocalist and songwriter, Chris Bay. Freedom Call has released 12 albums in total, nine of these studio albums.
