''Don't Know What's Cool Anymore'' is the fourth and final studio album by Danish band Alphabeat, their first since 2012's ''Express Non-Stop''. It was released on 1 November 2019 by Warner Music Denmark and is distributed by Absolute Label Services in the UK and Atlantic Records in the US. Background and promotion Singles After a 6-year hiatus, Alphabeat announced their return on 1 March 2019 with the single "Shadows". At the same time, they announced plans for a fourth studio album, citing a release window of October 2019. In Denmark, "Shadows" reached number 19 on the singles chart and was certified Gold. An EP of "Shadows" remixes was released on 24 May, containing reworkings by Alphalove, F9, Until Dawn and Country Club Martini Crew. Alphabeat
Alphabeat were a Danish pop band from Silkeborg, fronted by singers Stine Bramsen and Anders Stig Gehrt Nielsen. Their single " Fascination" was a major hit in Denmark during the summer of 2007, as well as the United Kingdom in 2008. Follow-up single " 10.000 Nights of Thunder" (or just "10,000 Nights" in the UK) saw success and their eponymous debut album reached number two in Denmark and number ten in the UK. It has sold over 100,000 copies and their three top twenty singles have sold altogether in the region of 400,000. "Fascination" is the first single released by Danish pop group Alphabeat. It was first released in Denmark on 6 June 2006, followed by a worldwide release on 16 May 2008. The song reached number 6 on the UK Singles Chart. It was used as the music for a Coca-Cola advert. In Turkey, the song was used in an advertising campaign for Coca-Cola Zero, in Germany and Belgium for Coca-Cola Light. The Bimbo Jones Mix of the song was played in American Eagle Stores in the United States. It is also a playable song in the video game ''Band Hero'' and is available to play in the video game '' Rock Band 2'' via downloadable content. TV 2 (''TV to'') is a Danish government-owned broadcast and subscription television station in Denmark based in Odense, Funen. ''X Factor'' is the Danish version of british Tv show ''The X Factor'', created by Simon Cowell. The show premiered on 4 January 2008. For the first eleven seasons, the show was broadcast on DR1 before moving to TV 2 from the twelfth season onwards. There have been fifteen winners to date, most notable are Martin Hoberg Hedegaard (2008), Thomas Ring Petersen (2010), Anthony Jasmin (2014), Place on Earth (2018) & Mads Moldt (2022). The original judging panel consisted of Thomas Blachman, Lina Rafn and Remee. The current panel consists of Blachman and Martin Jensen.
