Dominic Foos (born 3 September 1997) is a German professional golfer. After winning several junior amateur tournaments in Germany and internationally, Foos turned professional in 2014. The Jacques Léglise Trophy is an annual amateur boys' team golf competition between Great Britain & Ireland and the Continent of Europe. It was first played in 1977, as a one-day match before the Boys Amateur Championship, but since 1996 it has been played as a separate two-day match. The venue generally alternates between Great Britain and Ireland and the continent. From 1958 to 1966 a similar match was played between a combined England and Scotland team and the Continent of Europe. History The event can trace its origins back to 1958. The Bonallack Trophy is an amateur golf competition on the model of the Ryder Cup which opposes every two years a European team and a team representing Asia/Pacific. The venue alternates between courses in Europe and Asia/Pacific. The first competition took place in 1998 in Perth, Australia. Since 2016 it has been held concurrently with the women's Patsy Hankins Trophy. Europe leads the series 7 wins to 3. 2013 European Amateur Team Championship
The 2013 European Amateur Team Championship took place 9–13 July at Silkeborg Ry Golf Club in Silkeborg, located in the middle of the Jutlandic peninsula, Denmark. It was the 30th men's golf European Amateur Team Championship. Venue The club was founded as Silkeborg Golf Club in 1965 and its first 18-hole course was fully developed in 1968. In early 2013 the club merged with Ry Golf Club and under the new name Silkeborg Ry Golf Club expanded to 54 holes. Format The number of entering nation teams was, for the first time limited to 16. The European Amateur Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for men organised by the European Golf Association which was introduced in 1959. The championship was played in odd-numbered years from 1959 to 2007 and has been played annually since 2008 (with the exception of 2012). The Junior Ryder Cup is a team golf competition between Europe and the United States for junior golfers aged 18 and under. It is based on the men's Ryder Cup and is run by the same organisations, the PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe. The 2018 event took place at Golf Disneyland, Marne-la-Vallée, Paris, France on Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 September. The United States won 12–11, their sixth successive victory in the event. Brandon Stone (born 20 April 1993) is a South African professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and Sunshine Tour. He represented South Africa at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
