Diving At The 2022 World Aquatics Championships
Diving at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships was held from 26 June to 3 July 2022. Events Individual events consisted of preliminaries, semifinals and finals. The order of divers in the preliminary round was determined by computerized random selection, during the technical meeting. The 18 divers with the highest scores in the preliminaries proceeded to the semifinals. The semifinal consisted of the top 18 ranked divers from the preliminary competition and the final of the top 12 ranked divers from the semifinal. Schedule 13 events were held. Dato Pandelela Rinong Pamg, (born 2 March 1993) is a Malaysian diver. She has won two Olympic medals and seven World Championships medals. Pandelela represented Malaysia at the 2008 Summer Olympics where she finished 27th in 10m platform. She won the gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Chen Yuxi (; 11 September 2005) is a Chinese diver. Early life Chen was born on 11 September 2005 to a family with gymnastics background. Her grandfather, Chen Xinxi, was a former gymnast. Chang Yani (; born 7 December 2001) is a Chinese diver. Chang won all four legs of the 2016 FINA Diving World Series in the 10 metre mixed platform synchronized event together with Tai Xiaohu. Chen Yiwen (; born 15 June 1999) is a Chinese diver. Early life Born on 1999, Chen's father was from Hainan, while her mother was from Zhanjiang, Guangdong. When she was almost nine years old, she went to Guangdong for training and entered sports school in Chikan District of Zhanjiang to begin training for her diving career. Mia Jolie Doucet Vallée (born March 22, 2001) is a Canadian diver in the springboard (1 and 3 metre) events. Career Vallée made her national team debut at the 2016 FINA Grand Prix.
