Georges Eberhard (1865–1926) was a Swiss watchmaker and industrialist who founded Eberhard & Co. Biography Early life Georges-Lucien Eberhard was born in 1865 in Saint-Imier, the son of a prominent Bernese family tracing its origins back to the 10th century. Paul Bernard Vogel was a Swiss industrialist who owned the Solvil et Titus watch manufacture. Business life In 1930, Vogel acquired the '' Solvil et Titus'' and ''Paul Ditisheim'' brands from their founder Paul Ditisheim. Vulcain (watch Company)
Vulcain is a Swiss luxury watchmaker based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. It was founded in 1858 by Maurice Ditisheim as ''Manufacture Ditisheim' in La Chaux-de-Fonds,'' being rebranded as Vulcain in 1894. In 1947, Vulcain developed the first alarm watch, the Vulcain Cricket. Foundation Vulcain was founded in 1858 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland by the Ditisheim brothers Maurice, Gaspard and Aron.
