Visa Policy Of Suriname
As of 1 May 2023, most visitors to Suriname may enter without a visa. However, visitors from certain countries must obtain an e-Visa. All visitors must have a passport valid for at least 6 months. Visa exemption With the exception of citizens and mentioned in the next chapter, all other citizens may enter Suriname without a visa for up to 90 days if travelling for tourism or family visits. However, an entry fee of United States dollar, USD 25 or 25 euros is required to be paid online prior to arrival. The exemption from paying an entry fee applies to passport holders of Caribbean Community, CARICOM member states under reciprocity. Visa required in advance On 1 May 2023, Suriname unilaterally reimposed the visa requirement for citizens from 21 countries; this was said to have been due to the aforementioned citizens having abused visa-free travel to Suriname.
