Dina Pule
Dina Pule is a South African politician who was Minister of Communications under President Jacob Zuma from October 2011 to July 2013. She was fired during a parliamentary inquiry into allegations that she had contravened the parliamentary code of conduct. The allegations were ultimately substantiated by Parliament's Joint Committee on Ethics and Members' Interests and by the Public Protector, leading Parliament to suspend and reprimand Pule. Pule is a member of the African National Congress (ANC). She first held public office as a Member of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature for a single term between 2004 and 2009. During that period, she held several portfolios as a Member of the Executive Council under former Premier Thabang Makwetla. National Assembly (South Africa)
The National Assembly is the directly elected house of the Parliament of South Africa, located in Cape Town, Western Cape. It consists of four hundred members who are elected every five years using a party-list proportional representation system where half of the members are elected proportionally from nine provincial lists and the remaining half from national lists so as to restore proportionality. The National Assembly is presided over by a Speaker, assisted by a Deputy Speaker. The current Speaker is Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula who previously served as the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans. She was elected on 19 August 2021. Internal resistance to apartheid in South Africa originated from several independent sectors of South African society and took forms ranging from social movements and passive resistance to guerrilla warfare. Nelspruit
Mbombela (also known as Nelspruit) is a city in northeastern South Africa. It is the capital of the Mpumalanga province. Mpumalanga () is a province of South Africa. The name means "East", or literally "The Place Where the Sun Rises" in the Swazi, Xhosa, Ndebele and Zulu languages. 55th National Conference Of The African National Congress
The 55th National Conference of the African National Congress (ANC) took place from 16 to 20 December 2022 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre in Nasrec, Gauteng. Attended by 4,426 voting delegates, the conference elected the party's 87-member National Executive Committee, including the party's top officials – for the first time known as the Top Seven, rather than the Top Six, after the conference amended the party's constitution to introduce a second deputy secretary-general position. The African National Congress Women's League (ANCWL) is an auxiliary women's political organization of the African National Congress (ANC) of South Africa. This organization has its precedent in the Bantu Women's League, and it oscillated from being the Women's Section to the Women's League from its founding, through the exile years, and in a post-apartheid South Africa.
