Editácio Vieira de Andrade (born December 30, 1973), usually known simply as Dimba, is a Brazilian futsal player and footballer who plays as a forward. Career Football He started his professional football career in 1994, playing for Sobradinho. He stayed at the club until 1995, when he was transferred to Brasília. In the same year, he moved to Gama. In 1996, he returned to Sobradinho. In 1997, he signed with Botafogo of Rio de Janeiro. He left the club in the following year, joining América Mineiro. In 1999, he played for Portuguesa and Bahia. In 2000, for the first time in his career, he played at a non-Brazilian team, as he signed with Leça of Portugal. In 2000 and 2001, he returned to Brazil, playing again for Botafogo. Sobradinho, Federal District
Sobradinho is an administrative region in the Federal District in Brazil. It is bordered by Fercal to the north, Planaltina to the east, Itapoã to the south, and Lago Norte and Sobradinho II to the west. It was founded in 1960 and has a population of 85,491 as of 2010. Etymology The name comes from a style of building called Sobrado, according to the oldest residents, on the farm that originated the region there was a house of joão-de-barro, a bird known for making its nest out of clay. But this one was built as if it were a townhouse (in Portuguese: Sobrado), with two floors, hence the name. The Campeonato Baiano is the football league of the state of Bahia, Brazil. The championship has been played since 1905 without interruption. 2020 format First stage: 10 teams are included in one group, playing once only against all teams in the group. The four best teams qualify to the semifinals, while the last-placed team is relegated to the Second Level. Final stage The four best teams play in a two-legged knockout tie, with the first facing the fourth and the second facing the third placed. Taça Rio, or Rio Trophy, is an annual Rio de Janeiro football tournament. It is the second stage competition of the Campeonato Carioca, the state football championship in Rio de Janeiro. It has been organized since 1982 by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation. Vasco da Gama is the most successful club in the tournament's history, having won the title eleven times. The Taça Guanabara, or Guanabara Cup, is a football tournament organized annually since 1965 by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation. In its first four editions (1965, 1966, 1967 and 1968), the Taça Guanabara was a tournament in its own right, unrelated to the Rio de Janeiro league, and the winner would represent Rio de Janeiro in the Taça Brasil de Futebol national league competition.
