Dikomo
Dikomo ( el, Δίκωμο; tr, Dikmen) is a town in Cyprus, located about halfway between Nicosia and Kyrenia. ''De facto'', it is under the control of Northern Cyprus. The town consists of two parts: * Kato Dikomo (; ) * Pano Dikomo (; ) Dikomo is first mentioned in sources in a chronicle by Neophytos the Recluse on a raid on Cyprus in 1155/56. It was close to the site of a battle between the Byzantine forces and the forces of Raynald of Châtillon, who had landed in Kyrenia and further advanced to Nicosia. Kyrenia District
Kyrenia District is one of the six districts of Cyprus. Its main town is Kyrenia ( el, Κερύνεια; tr, Girne). It is the smallest of Cyprus' districts, and is the only one controlled in its entirety by the unrecognised de facto state of Northern Cyprus, where the same territory is administered as the ''de facto'' Girne District, a distinct entity. It is bordered on the south by Nicosia District and on the east and south-east by Famagusta District. It includes much of the north coast, with the towns of Kyrenia, Lapethos and Karavas. Raynald Of Châtillon
Raynald of Châtillon (french: Renaud; 11254 July 1187), also known as Reynald or Reginald, was a Crusader knight of French origin but also Prince of Antioch from 1153 to 1160 or 1161, and Lord of Oultrejordain from 1175 until his death. He was born the second son of a French noble family. After losing a part of his patrimony, he joined the Second Crusade in 1147. He settled in the Kingdom of Jerusalem and served in the royal army as a mercenary. Raynald married Constance, the reigning Princess of Antioch, in 1153, in spite of her subjects' opposition. He was always in need of funds. He captured and tortured Aimery of Limoges, Latin Patriarch of Antioch, because Aimery had refused to pay a subsidy to him. European Democracy (Greek: Evropaiki Dimokratia, EvroDi) was a political party in Cyprus founded in 2004 out of the coalition For Europe. For Europe (Greek: Για την Ευρώπη, Gia tin Evropi, GTE) was launched by Yiannakis Matsis to contest the 2004 European Parliamentary Elections. Yiannakis Matsis was a former (1993-1997) President of the center-right party Democratic Rally (DISY), but disagreed with the party's support for the Annan Plan and decided to fight the elections on a separate ticket. He was joined by deputies Rikkos Erotokritou and Prodromos Prodromou who had been expelled from DISY for opposing the party line on the Annan Plan.
