Dewi Schreefel
Dewi Claire Schreefel (born 12 November 1985) is a Dutch professional golfer currently playing on the LPGA Tour and formerly on the Futures Tour. Personal Schreefel was born in Alkmaar, Netherlands on 12 November 1985. She resides in the village of Diepenveen located within the municipality of Deventer. Her father is Indonesian and her mother is Dutch. Amateur and college career As a junior player, Schreefel won the Dutch Stroke-Play Championship five times, in 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2004. She also won the 2004 Italian Women's Amateur Championship and the Dutch Match-Play Championship. She attended the University of Southern California where she was a member of the 2008 NCAA National Championship team, was the 2006 NCAA Individual champion, a three-time All-American and finished in the top-10 14 times. Alkmaar () is a city and municipality in the Netherlands, located in the province of North Holland, about 30 km north of Amsterdam. Alkmaar is well known for its traditional cheese market. The Helsingborg Open is a women's professional golf tournament held in Helsingborg, Sweden. It first featured on the Ladies European Tour (LET) in 2013. 2001 European Ladies' Team Championship
The 2001 European Ladies' Team Championship took place in 10–14 July at Campo de Golf de Meis in the province of Pontevedra, . It was the 22nd women's golf amateur European Ladies' Team Championship. Venue The hosting public course, in the municipality Meis, 60 kilometres north-east of the city of Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain, opened its 18 holes in 2000. It is situated on the Monte Castrove, a hilly high plateau, in a light stone pine forest, with widespread fairways framed by stone pines and with six lakes around the course. Due to heavy fog on the course, play was cancelled the scheduled last two days of the tournament. Junior Solheim Cup
The Junior Solheim Cup is a version of the Solheim Cup for girls aged 12 to 18. It was inaugurated in 2002. It is currently officially called the PING Junior Solheim Cup. The Junior Solheim Cup follows a similar format to The Solheim Cup and features the top 12 U.S. amateur girls—defined as girls participating in American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) events—versus their European counterparts. College/university golfers are ineligible to participate in the event, even if they meet the age cutoff. The event is held over two days, with six fourball and six foursomes matches on the first day, and twelve singles matches on the second day. Each event has been held in the general vicinity of that year's Solheim Cup. The United States has won 7 of the 11 contests, with Europe winning 3, while the 2011 match ended in a tie. Junior Ryder Cup
The Junior Ryder Cup is a team golf competition between Europe and the United States for junior golfers aged 18 and under. It is based on the men's Ryder Cup and is run by the same organisations, the PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe. The 2018 event took place at Golf Disneyland, Marne-la-Vallée, Paris, France on Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 September. The United States won 12–11, their sixth successive victory in the event. Format The teams consist of six boys and six girls. From 2008 to 2018 the tournament was played over two days of foursomes, fourball and singles matches. There were three boys' matches and three girls' foursomes matches and six mixed fourball matches on the first day. The Evian Championship
The Evian Championship, currently known for sponsorship reasons as The Amundi Evian Championship, is a women's professional golf tournament in France, played at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains. It was originally held in June, moved to July in 2003, and moved again to September in 2013. It returned to a July date in 2019. Founded in 1994 on the Ladies European Tour (LET) as the Evian Masters, it is one of two major championships on the LET. Not originally a major on the LPGA Tour, it became an LPGA co-sanctioned event in 2000, which included a significant increase in purse size. An event on the LPGA Tour, it is one of the tour's five major championships, and has traditionally been the first of the season since its elevation to major status in 1983. Kristie Lynn Smith (born 7 August 1988) is an Australian professional golfer who plays on the Futures Tour and the Ladies European Tour. She was the 2008 Australian Amateur Champion and was the low amateur in the 2008 MFS Women's Australian Open at Kingston Heath Golf Club, finishing at 1 under par in equal 5th place.
