Devid Naryzhnyy
Devid Yurievich Naryzhnyy (russian: Девид Юрьевич Нарижный, born 11 October 1999) is a Russian competitive ice dancer. With his former skating partner, Elizaveta Shanaeva, he is the 2020 World Junior bronze medalist and the 2019–20 Junior Grand Prix Final bronze medalist. He has also won three medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series, including gold medals at 2019 France and 2019 Russia. Personal life Devid Yurievich Naryzhnyy was born on 11 October 1999 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. His parents, Olena/Elena Pyatash and Andrei Penkin are also figure skaters. Career Early years Naryzhnyy began learning to skate when his parents were part of an ice show in England when he was three years old. The 2019–20 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final and ISU Junior Grand Prix Final was held from December 5–8, 2019 at the Torino Palavela in Turin, Italy. 2020 World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The 2020 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held in Tallinn, Estonia on March 2–8, 2020. Figure skaters competed for the title of junior world champion in men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition determined the entry quotas for each federation during the 2020–21 ISU Junior Grand Prix series and at the 2021 World Junior Championships. Qualification Age and minimum TES requirements Skaters who reach the age of 13 before July 1, 2019, but have not turned 19 (singles and females of the other two disciplines) or 21 (male pair skaters and ice dancers) are eligible to compete at the junior level. Courchevel () is a French Alps ski resort. It is a part of Les Trois Vallées, the largest linked ski areas in the world. Courchevel also refers to the towns of Courchevel 1300 (Le Praz), Courchevel 1550, Courchevel 1650 (Moriond), and Courchevel 1850, which are named for their altitudes in metres. On 1 January 2017, Saint-Bon-Tarentaise (1100) merged into the new commune Courchevel. The resort centre of Courchevel is at 1,747 metres (5,732 ft). The name Courchevel 1850 was chosen for marketing reasons to compete with rival ski resort Val d'Isère. It is the Jardin Alpin area of Courchevel 1850 rather than the centre which is located at 1,850 metres (6,070 ft). The 2018–19 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 22nd season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the 2018–19 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters competed for medals in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance, as well as for qualifying points.
