Heeze
Heeze is a town in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Heeze-Leende, about 9 km southeast of Eindhoven. The Heeze Castle is located east of the town. Further east and to the north lies the Strabrechtse Heide. History The village was first mentioned in 1173 as Herebertus de Hese, and means shrubbery. Heeze is an agricultural community which developed along the Grote and . The '' heerlijkheid'' Heeze was first mentioned in 1172. A castle has been known since 1203. The current castle dates from the 15th century and enlarged and probably rebuilt in the 17th century. Between 1796 and 1798, a large English landscape garden was laid out around castle. Someren () is a municipality and town in the province of North Brabant in the Southern Netherlands. As of January 2019, the municipality had 19,322 inhabitants, with over half of the population residing in the town. Vlierden
Vlierden is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Deurne, about 20 km east of Eindhoven. History The village was first mentioned in 721 as Fleodrodu(m), and means "settlement near the elderberry (''sambucus'') trees". Vlierden is an agrarian community from the Early Middle Ages. For a short while, it was a ''heerlijkheid''. The St Willibrordus was originally built in 1846, and expanded in 1920. It was severely damaged in 1944, and received a new front in 1956. Geldrop
Geldrop is a town in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is in the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo, around 5 km east of Eindhoven city centre. Geldrop was a separate municipality until 2004, when it merged with Mierlo. Geldrop is noted for having a neighbourhood with streets named after characters and elements from the works of J. R. R.
