Someren
Someren () is a municipality and town in the province of North Brabant in the Southern Netherlands. As of January 2019, the municipality had 19,322 inhabitants, with over half of the population residing in the town. Someren, just south of Helmond and to the north of Weert, Limburg, is located on the provincial border with Limburg. Someren-Eind
Someren-Eind is a small town, located in the southeast of North Brabant, Netherlands. It is a part of the gemeente Someren, counting 3510 residents by 2007. Someren-Eind is located near the Zuid-Willemsvaart, a canal that connects 's-Hertogenbosch and Maastricht. Someren-Eind is also known under the name D'end. History Someren-Eind arose in 1878, when the town got its own independent parish. Before, the area had been a marsh and a part of ' de Groote Peel'. Peat workers lived in Someren-Eind because it was closer to the marsh where they stabbed peat. After several years, people from the surrounding area started building a life in Someren-Eind. And so, the tiny town (with around 60 residents) started growing into a bigger town. Architecture Someren-Eind don’t have a church anymore'. Lierop
Lierop is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Someren, about 7 km south of Helmond. History The village was first mentioned in 1155 as Lirdob. The etymology is unknown. Lierop develop along the Kleine Aa. A church was built in 1569. The Holy Name of Jesus Church was built between 1890 and 1892, and has a large domed tower in Romano-Gothic style. There used to be four towers on the corner, but after war damage in 1944 only two have been restored. Lierop was home to 288 people in 1840. Lierop was a separate municipality until 1935, when it became part of Someren. Helmond (; called ''Héllemond'' in the local dialect) is a city and municipality in the Metropoolregio Eindhoven of the province of North Brabant in the Southern Netherlands. Helmond is home to several textile and metal companies. The Vlisco factory is located next to the Zuid-Willemsvaart canal, which runs through the city. Antonius Lambertus Maria Hurkmans (born 3 August 1944) is Bishop emeritus of the Roman Catholic Diocese of 's-Hertogenbosch. His motto is: ''Sancti Spiritus In virtute'' (The power of the Holy Spirit). Early years and calling to the priesthood Antoon Hurkmans was born in Somernen and grew up in a farming family of nine children. He took his vegetable and grocery diploma and had really his own grocery store in Echt, Netherlands. Because he felt called to the priesthood, he sold his shop and then studied at the College for Late Vocations in Warnsveld. In 1966 he went to the Latin School in Gemert and three years later he spent some time in the Grimbergen Abbey, Belgium. In 1972 Hurkmans left the monastery and went to study theology at the Tilburg University, where he received his doctorate in 1978. Asten () is a municipality and a town in the southern Netherlands. It is home to the Royal Eijsbouts bell foundry and also a carillon museum. East Brabantian ( nl, Oost Noord-Brabants or Oost Brabants) is one of the main divisions of the Brabantian dialect group recognized by the ''Woordenboek van de Brabantse dialecten''. East Brabantian dialects are mainly spoken in the eastern part of the province of North Brabant. Classifications of Brabantian recognize it as a separate dialect group. Sometimes it is called Meierijs, after the Bailiwick of Den Bosch.
