"Destroyer" is a song by American industrial metal band Static-X and the lead single from their album ''Cannibal (Static-X album), Cannibal''. The song was released music download, digitally on March 20, 2007. On the U.S. weekly Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks, Mainstream Rock chart, it peaked at number 23. The video was filmed on March 7 using two roller derby teams, featuring a 1970s theme. In the video, several illegal roller derby moves are shown - such as Professional wrestling attacks#Clothesline, clotheslining an opponent and punching during a fight. Static-X is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1994. The line-up has fluctuated over the years, but was long-held constant with band founder, frontman, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Wayne Static until his death in 2014. The band was founded by Wayne Static and original drummer Ken Jay. They rose to fame with their 1999 debut album '' Wisconsin Death Trip'' where their heavy industrial metal sound attracted attention within the burgeoning nu metal movement of the late 1990s, with the album eventually going platinum in the United States. I'm With Stupid (Static-X Song)
"I'm with Stupid" (released as a single under the name of "I'm with Stupid (He's a Loser)") is the second single from Static-X's debut album, ''Wisconsin Death Trip''. The song starts off with singer Wayne Static screaming out the words of the chorus, "He’s a loser, she said" and quickly moving on to the main guitar riff that is repeated throughout the song. The outro, a sample of dialogue from actress Linnea Quigley, comes from the 1988 film ''Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama''. Live performances System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian performed rhythm guitar for the song during a performance at Ozzfest 1999. Koichi Fukuda (born July 1, 1975) is a Japanese musician, best known as the lead guitarist, programmer, and keyboardist for the metal band Static-X; he has been a member of the band three times, initially from 1994 to 2000, again from 2005 to 2010 and since 2018. He was also the former lead guitarist of the bands Drugstore Fanatics and Bellusira. Biography He was present on Static-X's debut album, '' Wisconsin Death Trip'', but left the band prior to the recording of their second album, '' Machine'', citing personal problems due to excessive touring.
