The coat of arms of Lebanon ( ar, شعار لبنان) consists of a red shield with a white bend sinister on which is placed a cedar tree. Mounir Abou Fadel
Mounir Abou Fadel (Arabic: منير أبو فاضل) (June 5, 1912 – January 29, 1987) was a Lebanese Greek Orthodox politician. He was a member of the Lebanese Parliament for thirty consecutive years (1957-1987) representing the district of Aley, Mount Lebanon. Personal background Abou Fadel was born to a prominent Greek Orthodox family in Ain Aanoub to parents Habib Abou Fadel (1850-1927), a judge and Kaymakam, and Jamileh Saadeh. His uncle Youssef Abou Fadel (1837-1892), also a judge, was a member of the first administrative council of the Mount Lebanon Mutasarrifate, from 1861 to 1864. Abou Fadel studied law at universities in Jerusalem. Albert Moukheiber
Albert Moukheiber (; 1912 - 2002) was a Lebanese doctor, politician and a former Lebanese Parliamentary member who was widely known for his opposition to the Syrian military presence in Lebanon. He was also co-founder of the National Bloc Party. Career Albert Moukheiber was a deputy in the Lebanese Parliament since 1957, with the acceptation of 1992. He won in the 1960 elections and in 1964 elections in alliance with the National Liberal Party under the leadership of Camille Chamoun, and in 1968 he won his parliamentary seat in alliance with Representative Jamil Lahoud and in 1972. He was also elected as a deputy in the year 2000, representing the district of Matn, but he did not complete his term and died two years in his term. Farid Nabil Makari (; 24 October 1947 – 17 August 2022) was a Lebanese politician. Early life and education Makari was born in Anfeh on 24 October 1947. He graduated from University of Texas at Austin in civil engineering and joined Oger Saudi and Oger International, companies founded by the former Lebanese prime minister, Rafik Hariri. Career In 1992, Makari entered politics, winning the Eastern Orthodox parliamentary seat in the district of Koura. Makari was re-elected in 1996, 2000, 2005 and 2009. Between 1995–1996, Makari was appointed Information Minister in the Government of Rafik Hariri.
