Canicattì (; ) is a town and ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Agrigento in the Italian region Sicily, located about southeast of Palermo and about east of Agrigento. In 2024, it had a population of 34,295. History The archaeological remains in the city and in the neighbourhood testify the presence of a settlement before the Roman age.
