Defleshed
Defleshed is a Swedish death/thrash metal band. The group was formed by guitarist Lars Löfven, formerly of Convulsion and Inanimate. He was joined by ex-Crematorium bassist Gustaf Jorde shortly after recording a demo. In 1995 drummer Matte Modin joined the band. They have released several albums on high-profile metal labels. In November 2005, it was announced that Defleshed had officially split-up. The band also had a side project named Vargavinter. In January 2021, Defleshed announced they had reformed and they were working on new material. In July 2022, the band announced they had signed with Metal Blade Records and would be releasing their new album, ''Grind Over Matter'', on October 28, which will be the band's first album in 17 years. Dark Funeral
Dark Funeral is a Swedish black metal band from Stockholm, founded by guitarists Blackmoon and Lord Ahriman in 1993. They emerged during the second wave of black metal. Their lyrical themes have traditionally pertained to Satanism and anti-Christianity. Certain past and present members including Blackmoon, Ahriman, Caligula, and Chaq Mol have each declared an affinity for Satanism, with Ahriman and Caligula notably being practitioners of LaVeyan Satanism. In their earlier years, their lyrical themes usually revolved specifically around depictions of Hell and Satan. After Emperor Magus Caligula joined the band, their lyrics came to focus more on blasphemy and anti-Christian rhetoric, although there have been several exceptions to this. Raubtier (German for "predator") is a Swedish industrial metal band from Haparanda. They released their debut album, ''Det finns bara krig'' ("There is only war" in English), in 2009. Regain Records
Regain Records was a Swedish-based independent record label. The label predominantly released death metal and black metal albums. Regain Records was founded from what remained of the former label, Wrong Again Records, by Per Gyllenbäck in 1997. Wrong Again Records had such bands as In Flames, Cryptopsy, Arch Enemy, and Naglfar among its ranks. Regain Records' first two releases were Deranged's '' High on Blood'' and Embraced's '' Amorous Anathema'', in late 1997. In the first two years of operation, business for the label was slow, due to lack of proper distribution. It was not until Regain Records re-released the first two in Flames albums, ''Lunar Strain'' and '' Subterranean'', which were previously released under the name Wrong Again Records, that the label began to prosper. Candlelight Records is a British record label based in England and founded by former Extreme Noise Terror bassist Lee Barrett, though it has had a division in the United States since January 2001.
