Deewee, stylized as DEEWEE is a record label founded in 2015 by David and Stephen Dewaele of the band Soulwax. The label operates from a building in Ghent (Belgium) that the Dewaele brothers nickname ''DEEWEE 001'', referring to it as the first item on the label's catalog. The building was designed for the Dewaeles by Belgian architect Glenn Sestig. It houses the recording studio where all releases on the label are written, recorded or mixed. The Dewaele brothers conceived their label in reaction to the trend of electronic music artists collaborating remotely via file transfer and rarely meeting to work together in the same location. The label initially released music by new young artists, until 2017 when Soulwax started releasing their own music on it as well. Their 2017 album " From DEEWEE" was based on the 'Transient Program For Drums and Machinery' live tour and was recorded live in one take. ''From Deewee'' (stylized as FROM DEEWEE) is the fourth studio album by Belgian electronic music duo Soulwax, released on 24 March 2017. With a length of 48 minutes, the album was recorded in one take by the Dewaele brothers along with three drummers. Besides the normal members of Soulwax, there is Laima Leyton on keys, Igor Cavalera Igor Graziano Cavalera (born 4 September 1970) is a Brazilian musician, best known as the former drummer for the heavy metal band Sepultura, which he co-founded with his brother Max in 1984. Soulwax are an electronic band from Ghent, Belgium. Centred around brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, other current members include Igor Cavalera and Stefaan Van Leuven. They were first noticed after the release of their album ''Much Against Everyone's Advice'', but after that, the Dewaeles started focusing on their other projects, such as 2manydjs (first known as The Fucking Dewaele Brothers/The Flying Dewaele Brothers). James Righton
James Nicholas Righton (born 25 August 1983) is a British musician. As well as singing, he was the keyboard-player of the London-based new rave band Klaxons, which disbanded in 2015. In March 2016, Righton announced his new project Shock Machine with a video directed by Saam Farahmand. Righton released his first solo album ''The Performer'' on Soulwax's Deewee label in March 2020. Early life Righton was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. Charlotte Adigéry, also known as WWWater, is a Belgian musician. Early life and education Adigéry was born in France and grew up in Ghent, Belgium. Her mother was Jewish, born in France. She is of Martinican and Guadeloupian descent. Her family background is Nigerian-Jewish Yoruban via the Martinique slave trade. Adigéry attended college in Hasselt, where she studied music. Career In 2016, Adigéry contributed vocals to "The Best Thing" a song on the 2016 ''Belgica'' film soundtrack that was scored by David and Stephen Dewaele, aka Soulwax or 2ManyDJs. Techno

Joe Goddard (musician)
Joe Goddard (born 12 September 1979) is a British musician, songwriter, and DJ. He is best known as a member of the English synth-pop band Hot Chip, which he co-founded with Alexis Taylor. In 2007, he co-founded record label Greco-Roman, which has produced albums by artists such as Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Disclosure. Goddard is also a member of electronica group The 2 Bears, and produced two solo albums, ''Harvest Festival'' (2009) and ''Electric Lines'' (2017). EMS Synthi 100
The EMS Synthi 100 was a large analogue/digital hybrid synthesizer made by Electronic Music Studios, London, originally as a custom order from Radio Belgrade for what was to be the Radio Belgrade Electronic Studio, largely thanks to contact between composer Paul Pignon, then living in Belgrade, and Peter Zinovieff. The synthesiser was designed by David Cockerell and documented in detail in 1971. The cost at that time was £6,500 (about £92,500 in 2020 Pounds). The last unit built by EMS was number 30. Afterwards, one final unit was built by Datanomics, who bought assets from EMS when the company folded in 1979. The redesigned unit was sold to Gabinete de Música Electroacústica, Cuenca, Spain. The MIA's, in full Music Industry Awards, are Flemish music prizes that are awarded by the VRT in collaboration with Music Centre Flanders. The prizes replace the ZAMU Awards, last awarded in 2006.
