''Deceivers'' is the eleventh studio album by Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. Originally scheduled for a 29 July 2022 release, the album was pushed back to 12 August 2022 for undisclosed reasons. ''Deceivers'' is Arch Enemy's first studio album since 2017's ''Will to Power'', marking the longest gap between two of their studio albums. Background and recording Writing began as early as October 2018: main songwriter and guitarist Michael Amott mentioned on an interview with Loudwire that he had "a few new ideas already for new stuff". In February 2021, on "The Riffhard Podcast", lead guitarist Jeff Loomis revealed he was "doing solos for the new Arch Enemy album", though adding he did not know when it would be released. ''Deceiver'' is the third studio album by American indie rock band DIIV. It was released on October 4, 2019 by Captured Tracks. Produced primarily by the band themselves along with producer Sonny Diperri ( My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails), the album was recorded in Los Angeles in March 2019. This album is the follow-up to 2016's critically acclaimed '' Is the Is Are''. It is also DIIV's first project since frontman Zachary Cole Smith checked himself into "long-haul inpatient treatment" for substance abuse in 2017. ''Deceiver'' is the debut studio album by American metalcore band The Word Alive. It was released on August 31, 2010, through Fearless Records. The title derives from a passage of lyrics within the chorus of the song "The Wretched". With anticipation of the album following up to their critically acclaimed EP ''Empire'', the band promoted the album for several months until leading to its release. It was produced by Andrew Wade and is the first and only release by the band with drummer Justin Salinas, yet final with bassist Nicholas Urlacher and keyboardist, Dusty Riach. The Deceiver is a novel by English writer Frederick Forsyth, about a retiring agent of the British Secret Intelligence Service, SIS named Sam McCready. He is the head of Deception, Disinformation and Psychological Operations, and his maverick but brilliant successes have led to his nickname "The Deceiver." The stories had previously been filmed as ''Frederick Forsyth Presents'', a miniseries for British television, in 1989 and 1990, with McCready played by Alan Howard (actor), Alan Howard.
