Dawn Nicole Macandili
Dawn Nicole Lirio Macandili-Catindig (born June 1, 1996) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She is a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. She played in the UAAP for the DLSU Lady Spikers, De La Salle University Lady Spikers for 5 seasons (76-80), and is currently playing in the Premier Volleyball League for the Cignal HD Spikers (women's team), Cignal HD Spikers. Personal life Macandili is a graduate of AB Psychology at De La Salle University. In March 2023, she married her longtime boyfriend, Diego Catindig. Career Macandili was the first libero (volleyball), libero in the Philippines to receive a Most Valuable Player award when she won the award in the 2016 PSL All-Filipino Conference, 2016 Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Conference. Tanauan, officially the City of Tanauan ( fil, Lungsod ng Tanauan), is a 2nd class component city in the province of Batangas, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 193,936 people. It is incorporated as a city under Republic Act No. 9005, signed on February 2, 2001, and ratified on March 10, 2001. 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference
The 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the eleventh conference of the Premier Volleyball League (''38th conference of the former Shakey's V-League'') and its second conference as a professional league. The conference was held from March 16 to April 8, 2022, pending restrictions brought by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. A pool play format will be adapted for the first time wherein teams will be divided into two pools as opposed to a round-robin format where all teams play against each other at least once. Preliminary round was held at the Paco Arena in Manila. Quarterfinal round and Semifinals Game 1 & 3 was held at the San Juan Arena in San Juan. The women's division of the 2021 PNVF Champions League was held from November 20 to 25, 2021. This is the inaugural edition of the PNVF Champions League. UAAP Season 79 Volleyball Tournaments
The UAAP Season 79 volleyball tournaments started on February 4, 2017 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, with the opening games of the men and women's senior volleyball tourneys, participated by 8 regular UAAP members. UAAP Season 78 Volleyball Tournaments
The UAAP Season 78 high school volleyball tournament started on August 22, 2015. The tournament venue is the Adamson University Gym in San Marcelino St., Ermita, Manila. Adamson is the tournament host. The number of participating schools in the boys' and girls' tournaments both increased to seven. Far Eastern University fielded boys' and girls' volleyball teams beginning season 77. Since there are now seven participating schools, the tournaments have a Final Four format.
