Davoud Noshi Sofiani
Davoud Noushi Soufiani ( fa, داود نوشی صوفیانی; born July 15, 1990) is an Iranian football goalkeeper who currently plays for Mes Rafsanjan in Persian Gulf Pro League. Club career Noshi joined Shahrdari Tabriz in 2010, after spending the previous season at Machine Sazi in the 2nd Division of Iranian Football. International career Noshi participated in the Iranian U-20 qualifying matches against Oman and India for the 2008 AFC U-19 Championship. Noshi Also participated in the 2006 AFC Youth Championship. History Early days Football was played in Iran as early as 1898, when a team of British residents of Esfahan played a team of Armenians. 2013–14 Hazfi Cup
The 2013–14 Hazfi Cup was the 27th season of the Iranian football knockout competition. Sepahan was the defending champion, but was eliminated by Sanat Naft in Round of 32. The competition started on 4 September 2013 and ended on 14 February 2014. Tractor won the title with defeating Mes Kerman in the final. 2006 AFC Youth Championship
The 2006 AFC Youth Championship was the 34th instance of the AFC Youth Championship. It was held from 29 October to 12 November 2006 in India. It was the first time for India to host this tournament. Sixteen teams from the AFC qualified to the finals. The tournament was won by North Korea, their second championship after sharing the trophy with Iran in 1976, defeating Japan 5–3 in a penalty shootout after extra time finished in a 1–1 draw. South Korea defeated Jordan 2–0 to finish third. The tournament also served as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, with a place for the 4 semi-finalists of the tournament. The Persian Gulf Pro League ( fa, لیگ برتر خلیج فارس, ''Lig-e Bartar-e Xalij-e Fârs''), formerly known as the Iran Pro League ( fa, links=no, لیگ برتر ایران, ''Lig-e bartar-e Irân''), is the highest division of professional football in Iran.
