Dave Parletti (born 22 April 1983) is an English professional darts player who plays in events of the World Darts Federation. Career In 2017, Parletti won the Jersey Classic. In 2018, he won the Welsh Masters and the Winmau Wolverhampton Open, and also reached the Last 16 of the 2018 World Masters. In 2019, he won the Welsh Classic, after defeating Martin Adams in the final, whilst earlier in the year he picked up the Romanian Open, beating Gary Robson in the final 6-5. Andy Baetens
Andy Baetens (born 24 February 1989) is a Belgian professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He is the reigning 2023 WDF World Darts champion, becoming the first Belgian player to win a world title. Baetens is also a four-time winner of the Czech Open and bronze medalist of the WDF Europe Cup. In the period from May 2023 to January 2024, he was the leader of the World Darts Federation men's ranking. Career Baetens took part in the first international tournaments shortly after he start playing darts. He advanced to the quarter-finals at the Antwerp Open during 2015 edition. Chris Landman (born 17 January 1981) is a Dutch professional darts player, currently playing in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career In 2017, Landman won the Catalonian Open, reached the quarter-final of the WDF World Cup Singles, and reached the Last 16 of the World Masters. He qualified for the 2018 BDO World Darts Championship as one of the Regional Table Qualifiers, losing to Derk Telnekes 0-3 in the preliminary round. He qualified for the 2019 BDO World Darts Championship losing in the 1st round to Kyle McKinstry 3-2. Krzysztof Kciuk
Krzysztof Kciuk (born 11 June 1980) is a Polish technology specialist and professional darts player who currently plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He is a Polish Champion and first player from Poland who played at PDC World Darts Championship. Career Kciuk is one of the most successful Polish darts players in history. Due to the only national qualification for the PDC World Darts Championship, played in November 2009, he defeated Tomasz Mikołajczyk 6–1 in legs in the final match. Gary Robson (darts Player)
Gary "Big Robbo" Robson (born 19 June 1967) is an English professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation events. Robson now resides in the small rural village of Rothbury, Northumberland. Career Robson qualified twice for the World Championships, but was beaten in the first round on each occasion. He made it for a third time in 2004, but found himself 2–0 down in sets against Steve Coote. However, Robson recovered and took the match to a sudden death deciding leg, which he won. Bobby George commented that "you won't see browner darts in this tournament than that match". Robson had another excellent performance in losing to 'Silverback' Tony O'Shea in the second round. Martin Adams
Martin Adams (born 4 June 1956) is an English professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Nicknamed "Wolfie", he is a three-time BDO World Champion and three-time World Masters champion. He represents Cambridgeshire at county darts level and was the captain of England from 1993 to 2013, the longest any player has held that role. From his debut in 1994, Adams made a record 25 consecutive World Championship appearances, before failing to qualify for the first time in 2019. Adams was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2016, but by the end of the year he was given the all-clear. World Darts Federation
The World Darts Federation (WDF) is a sport governing body and (along with the PDC) a tournament organiser for the game of darts. It was formed in 1974 by representatives of the original fourteen founding members. Membership is open to the national organizing body for darts in all nations. The WDF encourages the promotion of the sport of darts among and between those bodies, in an effort to gain international recognition for darts as a major sport. The WDF is a full member of Global Association of International Sports Federations, which is the governing body for international sports federations. 2017 UK Open
The 2017 Coral UK Open was a darts tournament staged by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the fifteenth year of the tournament where, following numerous regional qualifying heats throughout Britain, players competing in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament was held for the fourth time at the Butlin's Resort in Minehead, England, between 3–5 March 2017, and has the nickname, "the FA Cup of darts" as a random draw will be staged after each round until the final. Michael van Gerwen was the defending champion, but withdrew on the morning of the event with a back injury. Two-time runner-up and top seed Peter Wright won his first PDC major, defeating Gerwyn Price 11–6 in the final. Mortlake
Mortlake is a suburban district of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on the south bank of the River Thames between Kew and Barnes. Historically it was part of Surrey and until 1965 was in the Municipal Borough of Barnes. For many centuries it had village status and extended far to the south, to include East Sheen and part of what is now Richmond Park.
