Daniil Ivanov (gymnast)
Daniil Valerievich Ivanov (born 23 September 1986) is a former international motorcycle speedway and ice speedway rider from Russia. Speedway career Ivanov is a four time World Champion winning the gold medal at the Individual Ice Speedway World Championship in the 2013 Individual Ice Racing World Championship, 2014 Individual Ice Racing World Championship, 2019 Individual Ice Racing World Championship and 2020 Individual Ice Racing World Championship. Ivanov is also a nine time world champion having won the Ice Speedway of Nations on nine occasions. He has also represented Russia in the 2007 Speedway World Cup. In 2022, Ivanov was unable to take part in any competition following the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme ban on Russian and Belarusian motorcycle riders, teams, officials, and competitions as a result of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Kamensk-Uralsky (russian: Ка́менск-Ура́льский) is a city in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, located at the confluence of the Kamenka and Iset Rivers ( Ob's basin). Population: 173,000 (1972); 51,000 (1939). History Kamensky Zavod was founded in the late 17th century as a settlement next to the cast iron smelting factory and foundry, commissioned on October 15, 1701. For the first two centuries of existence it was known for its cannons. First schools opened in Kamensk in 1724. The cast iron smelting factory was rebuilt in 1825–1829. Railway traffic started on December 6, 1885. The first library opened in 1899. In 1934, Sinarsky Pipe Works was established. In 1939, Ural Aluminum Factory was established. Kamensk was granted city status in 1935 and renamed Kamensk-Uralsky in 1940. The 2007 Speedway World Cup (SWC) was the 7th FIM Speedway World Cup season. The Final took place on July 21, 2007 in the Alfred Smoczyk Stadium in Leszno, Poland. The tournament was won by host team Poland (55 pts) and they beat defending champion Denmark (52 pts), Australia (29 pts) and Great Britain (15 pts) in the Final. European Pairs Speedway Championship
The European Pairs Speedway Championship is an annual speedway event held in different countries organized by the European Motorcycle Union (UEM) since 2004. Previous winners Rules The minimum age limit (16 years) starts on the date of the rider's birthday.
