Daniel Robert Anderson (born March 3, 1986) is an American musician and record producer, and one of the founding members of the alternative rock band Idiot Pilot and dance/electronic band Glowbug. He is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. History In 2010, Anderson officially held the fifth highest score ever recorded on Nintendo's ''Tetris''. He has a brief cameo in the season 8 episode of '' CSI: New York'', "Kill Screen", which is about competitive gaming. Recently, Anderson recorded guitar on rapper Hyro Da Hero's upcoming album, ''Birth, School, Work, Death''. Bellingham ( ) is the most populous city in, and county seat of Whatcom County in the U.S. state of Washington. Glowbug (band)
Glowbug is the dance/electronic band of Los Angeles, CA artist Daniel Anderson, who also fronts The Ghost and the Grace and is one-half of the band Idiot Pilot. History The band originated in October 2010 when Daniel Anderson attempted an experiment of writing, recording, mastering and releasing an EP of new material within three days; the final product being the first digital EP ''Awful Scary, Yes, Very''. The following two months (November/December 2010) saw the release of two more EPs: ''Silian Rail'', and ''Displacer Beast'' respectively. A Glowbug song, "Gold And Chains And Guns" from the Silian Rail EP, was used for a Flaunt Magazine photoshoot with Gillian Jacobs (of the NBC show Community). ''Wolves'' is the second full-length release album by Washington duo Idiot Pilot. It was produced by Ross Robinson (At the Drive-In, Glassjaw) and Mark Hoppus (singer and bassist of +44 and Blink 182). The third track, "Retina and the Sky" was also featured on the soundtrack of Michael Bay's film ''Transformers''. The album had a delayed release, first digitally on August 20, 2007 and physically October 2, 2007. Wolves features guest performers Travis Barker on drums in "Elephant" and Chris Pennie on drums in the rest of the tracks. Cover art is by Frank Maddocks Design. Lourdes Hernández González, known professionally as Russian Red, is a Spanish indie and folk singer-songwriter. Known by many as the "Spanish Feist", in reference to the Canadian singer-songwriter who inspires her in many of her attitudes on the microphone, Hernández—who writes and sings all of her compositions in English—states that she sings in that language instinctively because she has always listened to music in English. History Russian Red's project began when Hernández met Brian Hunt, a musician with an English father and Spanish mother, with whom she recorded a demo (which included tracks that remain unpublished like "Reason", "The Night of the Paper", and "Sadie") that reached more than 70,000 visits on her MySpace page by 2008.
